This is v cool. I use ChatGPT for building a map with extensive JSON and also a member directory. But sometimes I don't look at them for a month and forget if I'm working with SQL or JSON (don't judge me)
ai lacks human judgment. you have to be super specific in small segments. it kind of is its own talent
Will IDEs and canvases ever work well together?
Instructing it to use runbooks and shared inboxes with todo lists between agents is incredibly powerful.
physically moving left and right rapidly also helps
Can it be used collaboratively as a team or is this for indie workers

The real power of Copilot Canvas may be persistent project context, not just code generation. Developers often return to a project weeks later and forget why a schema, API decision, or workflow was designed a certain way. If Canvas could preserve code + architectural intent + decisions + dependencies together, Copilot could become more than an assistant — it could become a living technical memory for the project. GitHub — is that kind of long-term, explainable project memory part of where Canvas is heading?
