I’ve never believed AI would replace creativity. I’ve always believed it’s something to be used creatively. AI doesn’t diminish creative thinking—it expands where and how we can be creative. That includes things like workflow design, production innovation, even rethinking how ideas move through an agency. Honestly, I hold the entire legacy agency process in question. I think we can do better. And I’m here for it. Then again, I thrive in chaos and uncertainty—because at least it isn’t boring. Check out this sharp POV from my boss, Anthony Yell from the floor at Cannes. It’s a great take on the evolving relationship between GenAI and creativity. #GenerativeAI #CreativeLeadership #InnovationInMarketing #StorytellingInTech #AIandCreativity #FutureOfWork #AdTech #CannesLions2025 #AgencyLife #WorkflowDesign
2045, the true metaverse?
Hats off!
Exactly - agencies will eventually not be about creation, but rather about scaling, stewarding, and shepherding.

Well said Brian
I redesign websites and brands. I also partner with other agencies.
2wI think you're right and share a similar view point. 1. every creative has had to kill 100 ideas before they could ever be explored due to budget and time. Now... well, we still have to kill off a lot of possible directions, but we can explore considerably more than ever before. That means better and more satisfying work. 2. while it replaces the method, like photoshop replaced the the exacto knife and light table in graphic arts, it doesn't replace the need for the creative. Sure, it can execute amazing creative, in the right hands, the same as any adobe effect being an amazing tool... so long as you avoid the default settings ;) 3. who in their right mind would replace their creative staff with AI when the agency down the "virtual" block kept their creative staff and they're all leveraging AI to do more wicked cool stuff? Frankly, the idea that AI will replace the creative is just baffling to me. I think it empowers us in ways we never thought possible.
