Buyer beware ! Anything you purchase from Amazon only has a 2 year warranty no matter what the manufacturer’s warranty says e.g. 3 years 5 years & 10 years …Amazon will not entertain the conversation, will lie to you and make false promises that they will call you back. UK law says they have to follow the manufacturer’s warranty so be very careful with expensive electrical items …..

I have a suggestion—why not have a system in Amazon's backend where, if a product is being returned or replaced, it has some kind of unique identity so that when the delivery person picks up the item, it can be immediately confirmed on the spot whether it's the correct product or not?
