    InnovActionLab is a program started in 2011 that teaches how to deal with investors, what to focus on and how to start building your product that runs in multiple cities in Italy. Approx 7 cities: Rome, Milan, Bologna, Trento, Cagliari, Sicily, etc. Each city runs one class a year with approx 50 students. There is an application process together with the universities (seriousness of application, motivations etc), the courses are for free and run for four months. At the end of the course there…

Approx 7 cities: Rome, Milan, Bologna, Trento, Cagliari, Sicily, etc. Each city runs one class a year with approx 50 students. There is an application process together with the universities (seriousness of application, motivations etc), the courses are for free and run for four months. At the end of the course there is something similar to a Demo Day. There are a few winners, the prizes include trips to Silicon Valley, Israel and intro with investors. Today, alumni from this program have created or become part of a total of 25 startups to date (Dec 2013), raising over €4,500,000 from VCs and angels.
