Micros Systems possesses an exclusive series of business applications to help organizations in the retail and hospitality industries streamline and manage their daily business operations. In particular, one of their strongest second generation products named XStore has experienced tremendous sales growth in the recent year. This growth has resulted in a large number of project installation and configuration delays for their customers. To ensure timely implementations, Micros Systems, Inc. has solicited an offshore team to assist them in this backlog. This involves four primary objectives which include the development and quality assurance of current XStore customer modifications, XStore base bugs, XStore product interfaces, as well as new retail-related product development.
Responsibilities:
Manage and retain team of 43 developers and 12 QA software engineers
Create and maintain project plans for each XStore customer implementation iterations (Iterative SDLC)
Validate requirements with technical team and participate in functional / technical specifications review sessions with Micros-Retail product owners
Prepare project deliverables packages and work with Micro-Retail to perform acceptance criteria validation
Track project progress and measure project and individual performances using different metrics
Organize training sessions and arrange motivational programs aimed at resource motivation and retention
Risk identification and planning for mitigation; Issue resolution
