Owning V has been a completely new type of entrepreneurship for me—running a business rooted in a physical space within a vibrant, open-minded neighborhood. It’s also given me a unique perspective on technology. Thankfully, we have an incredible team, so it’s rare to see us behind the bar—but it does happen occasionally! Venturing into the hospitality industry has been both fun and challenging, and it’s given me a deep appreciation for founders who build businesses within their communities. From weddings to birthdays to funerals, alcohol seems to be everywhere, and we wanted to provide a thoughtful option for those who choose not to drink. We were curious if we could create something truly exceptional—and we did! We were curious if we could create something truly exceptional—and we did! Some of the top restaurants in the world, including Alinea in Chicago and Scratch Bar in Los Angeles, agreed and proudly served Semblance.
