Food shows are underrated IMHO. Best way to learn from chefs, buyers, DSRs, brand reps, and distribution execs. Some folks get hung up on where's the short term easy-to-measure case growth (not wrong), but if the focus is building great products and long term partnerships, then the cost of a flight + hotel room is pretty amazing bargain for 40+ high quality conversations with otherwise hard-to-reach key stakeholders.
