Our partners (employees) have big dreams, and we want to help them achieve those goals, both at Starbucks and beyond. For our people, by our people, our Partner Networks (employee resource groups) are open to all partners and create moments of connection that foster inclusion and contribute to our personal and professional success. “I was so excited when my coffeehouse leader told me about the Hora del Café (HDC) Partner Network and I immediately joined. I think it’s great that Starbucks has [Partner Networks] and I’m looking forward to connecting with other partners in HDC, sharing my experiences and learning from others.” -Favio, shift supervisor and Hora del Café Partner Network member Through our networks, we build communities of belonging and find opportunities to learn, celebrate, contribute and reflect on the diverse cultures, experiences and beliefs that make us human. Honored to share this work on behalf of our talented teams. I’ve continually looked to create profoundly memorable experiences that inspire, expand, and embrace the human spirit, and leading Starbucks uplifts is no exception. As we get “Back to Starbucks,” we’re reimagining what the Third Place can be. These refreshes are rooted in Starbucks heritage and authentically reflect the communities we serve. Thanks to Amelia Lucas and CNBC for capturing the work being done to create intentional and inclusive spaces that encourage our customers to stay longer, connect more, and return often. Starbucks has always been about more than coffee – we are a people company grounded in the power of our partners (employees) and our communities. That’s why, when disaster strikes, our response is deeply human and purpose driven. I recently spoke with Forbes.com about how our disaster relief efforts show up at all levels of the company – from brand-driven initiatives to partner-led efforts. Notably, reflecting on our support for the Los Angeles wildfires. Sadly, we know disasters will continue, but so will our commitment to using our scale for good to help our partners and communities recover, rebuild and move forward - together. ☕️Learn more about what fills my cup as a partner here: https://lnkd.in/gdgbXqgb
