Congratulations to our industrial refrigeration team for the successful installation of three new Russell air-cooled condensers at Navistar’s research and development facility in Elmendorf, Texas. These condensers are a critical part of the site’s climate chamber, which helps test electric school buses in extreme conditions, as low as -40 F. Golf season is in full-swing, and we're proud support facilities like the Oswego Lake Country Club to help keep your golf game on par both on and off the green. ⛳ We performed the design-build mechanical scope for the remodel of two historic buildings, including updates to the pro shop, clubhouse kitchen, and the addition of a new outdoor kitchen on the patio. With limited ceiling space and an existing structure to work around, routing large kitchen ducts was no easy feat. Our field team collaborated closely with the kitchen hood installer to custom-fabricate a connection that fit within the highly constrained ceiling. #BuiltBySouthland #Commercial #GolfCourse #Clubhouse

Many of our interns across the country spend their summers on active jobsites, gaining hands-on experience by taking ownership of project management tasks in the field. Macey Gannaway, Project Engineer Intern, is making an impact by supporting project operations — walking the site with foremen to track labor feedback, submitting RFIs and purchase orders, and joining safety walks to deepen her knowledge and build strong connections. "I really love being onsite, so one of my favorite activities is labor feedback. You walk around the site with the foremen and see what they've done in the past week, which makes it a really good learning opportunity," Macey shared.
