This summer, our intern Celeste R. has been gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of PMCS project sites across Southern California. She will be working closely with our project managers, inspectors, and team members across multiple project sites. Recently, she visited a Multi-Benefit Stormwater Capture Project aimed at improving water quality and advancing sustainability efforts. Celeste also toured an elementary school modernization project in Torrance, where facility upgrades are underway to better support students and staff. Progress in Arcadia 🏞️ Restoration efforts at the Santa Anita Reservoir are nearing completion. This essential post-fire recovery project—led by Los Angeles County Public Works—has involved draining the reservoir, removing over 500,000 cubic yards of sediment and debris, and transporting materials to a designated placement site. Ongoing improvements include dam safety enhancements such as a new riser structure and upgrades to the inlet/outlet works.
