With billions on the table and a nation to connect, can a "tech-neutral" approach deliver on the promise of high-speed broadband for all? On this episode of "Connecting the Lines," industry experts David Malfara and Dan Levac join us to discuss the BEAD program's dramatic shift from a "fiber-first" approach to a newly announced "tech-neutral" free-for-all. We'll explore what this pivot and other program changes means for service providers, states, consumers, and the future of nationwide connectivity. Plus, Dan drops his new Reagan-inspired tagline... What a week! From hands-on product builds and deep-dive technical discussions to big ideas for the future of connectivity, our Communications National Sales Meeting in Northwest Arkansas had it all! The in-depth knowledge-sharing sessions and new product introductions sparked great conversations about where our industry is headed. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a PLP gathering without a whole lot of fun (thanks to the Rodeo of the Ozarks) and a little friendly competition — from the putting green (Way to go, Nimra!… or should we say Ace?). One of the highlights was touring our flagship Rogers manufacturing plant; meeting our dedicated team members and seeing our advanced operations in action is always a powerful reminder of what sets PLP apart. A huge thank you to everyone who made the week a success! Your dedication, ideas, and energy keep us moving forward. Here’s to an exciting time ahead as we work together to be the connection our people, customers, and communities can count on! #SalesMeeting #TeamBuilding #KnowledgeSharing #FiberOptics
