  • Our Fort Collins team traded digital waves for whitewater ones on an epic rafting trip through Colorado! It was a great day of adventure, teamwork, and plenty of laughs—just another example of how this crew brings energy and collaboration to everything they do, whether it’s on the river or building cutting-edge Wave Relay® technology. Sound like a team you’d want to be part of? We’re hiring in Fort Collins—come join us! https://bit.ly/4dIXetn

  • The Wave Relay® MANET delivers full-duplex communication that keeps law enforcement teams seamlessly connected — no need for push-to-talk systems that slow you down when every second counts. Hands-free, real-time interaction means officers in the field can coordinate with command centers and each other without missing a beat — whether it’s a tactical operation, crowd control, or an evolving incident. By empowering better situational awareness and faster decision-making, Wave Relay® helps keep your team safer and your mission on track.

  • Our team met with NCMS – National Center for Manufacturing Sciences and O5T personnel for a hands-on demo of the Distant Support Kit at the NCMS office, followed by a live demonstration aboard the USS Wisconsin. We set up a Wave Relay® network directly on the ship to enable a live remote support call during the walkthrough. Despite the inherent communication challenges posed by the ship’s steel structure, the system performed seamlessly. The USS Wisconsin, a WWII-era battleship, features heavy armor not found on modern warships—making it an ideal environment to showcase how our technology excels in RF-restrictive conditions. Persistent Systems is networking maritime operations to ensure mission success—delivering resilient, secure communications that thrive in the most demanding environments.

  • On International Tiger Day, Persistent Systems is highlighting its collaboration with Carolina Tiger Rescue, a nonprofit sanctuary in Pittsboro, North Carolina, that provides a safe and permanent home to tigers, lions, cougars, and other wild animals rescued from the exotic pet trade. Since January, Persistent’s Wave Relay® MANET has been operational across the sanctuary’s 55-acre site, overcoming dense tree canopies and rugged terrain to provide continuous connectivity. This reliable network has enabled virtual tours, live-streamed animal feeds, and constant monitoring of animal health and behavior—capabilities that were previously limited due to spotty coverage. The system is currently supporting the care of a tiger with a genetic disorder by enabling staff to monitor the animal’s condition remotely, around the clock. The network has also expanded the sanctuary’s ability to educate and engage the public, particularly schoolchildren, through live broadcasts that help foster empathy and awareness about wildlife conservation. Persistent Systems will continue to support the sanctuary as it develops a new 16,000-square-foot visitor and education center, where additional cameras and network coverage will help expand their educational reach and mission impact.

  • The MPU5 visited a landmark where policy meets power. This time, it made its way to a striking marble atrium beneath a towering sculpture: "Mountains and Clouds" by Alexander Calder. While the artwork is impressive, the building it lives in plays an even bigger role in shaping national decisions. Here’s a hint: it’s named after a U.S. senator and houses some of the most influential offices in Washington, D.C. Think you know where the MPU5 is? Drop your guess in the comments

  • The DefenseTech industry is emerging fast yet at Persistent Systems, empowering warfighters with the best technology always been our mission. For nearly two decades, we've been developing advanced communications systems purpose-built for the modern battlefield. From resilient MANET networking to secure BLOS capabilities, our solutions are trusted by warfighters operating at the edge. Headquartered in New York’s Silicon Alley, we bring a tech-first mindset to the defense industry—combining innovation, speed, and superior engineering to deliver results where they matter most.

  • In today’s rapidly evolving threat landscape, secure communication isn’t just a U.S. military necessity—it’s a coalition imperative. From allied partners to government agencies and trusted commercial entities, the ability to share classified information securely and rapidly across organizational boundaries is critical to mission success. That’s why Persistent Systems' commercially-available solutions are built with interoperability and security in mind. Our Cloud Relay technology is a Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) approved solution—meaning it meets NSA standards for securely transmitting classified information while no longer relying on traditional Type-1 encryption. This allows for faster deployment, broader access, and seamless collaboration with coalition partners who may not use Type-1 systems.

  • The need for advanced communications at the battlefield edge is growing. As U.S. Gen. James Rainey noted, “We must enable our formations to operate dispersed…without sacrificing the ability to communicate.” Legacy communications systems have difficulty meeting this demand in complex, multi-domain environments. Persistent Systems is building a global network to empower the warfighter. Our Wave Relay® MANET delivers high-speed, low-latency connectivity across land, air, and sea—keeping teams connected, informed, and mission-ready in even the most remote locations. We also offer a secure alternative to Type 1 systems. With Cloud Relay™ and NSA CSfC-approved encryption, classified data can be transmitted over SATCOM, 5G, and other IP networks—giving the military a more flexible, scalable way to operate at the edge.

  • Persistent Systems offers a non-ITAR alternative to legacy Type 1 encryption, providing secure communications without the usual export restrictions. This solution is ideal for multinational and coalition operations, enabling seamless integration and trusted collaboration across allied forces. For the warfighter, it means faster, more flexible deployment of secure networks that protect classified data while enhancing interoperability on the battlefield.
