The best technology starts with the best people. At Path, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on the engineers, designers, and builders behind the work, and today, that spotlight is on Suryaa Kasthurisamy Selvaraj. As a Software Engineer, Suryaa helps shape the tools and systems that power our autonomous welding solutions. His favorite part of the job? Seeing his work go live and knowing it’s making a difference, fast. "There’s real joy in seeing something I built go live, using the features I created, and benefiting from the improvements. The instant feedback shows the impact I’m making on our technology and our customers." Whether it’s shipping new features or improving how we scale, Suryaa’s work is part of what keeps Path moving forward. “We move fast, but we’re also highly organized, so I know my work will make an impact.”

We’re enabling robots to build, so humans can create.
About us
Path Robotics was founded by brothers Andy and Alex Lonsberry with a desire to help fill workforce gaps in the manufacturing industry. At Path Robotics, we understand manufacturers are constantly being asked to do more with less; more reshoring, more demand, and more requirements with less time, less talent, and less tolerance. We’re helping guide the Fourth Industrial Revolution in manufacturing by providing robotic support to help keep up with those challenges. Our welding robots absorb high-volume, repetitive tasks by leveraging AI and machine learning. By doing this, we’re putting humans in safe, productive environments that allows manufacturers to increase productivity and grow their business.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Real World Robotics. We set out to create a space where real conversations about AI, robotics, and embodied intelligence could happen, and you showed up. From foundational models to real-world deployment, our speakers and panelists brought clarity, curiosity, and a healthy dose of challenge to the conversation. Special thanks to: 🎤 Peter Zhenghao Qian (Ventus AI) 🧠 Bernadette Bucher · Nima Fazeli · Stephen James Huge shoutout to Liz Grassel for making it all happen on our end. And to every attendee, engineers, researchers, operators, and builders, you made it what it was. Cant wait for our next speaker series August 28th with Women in Manufacturing #RealWorldRobotics #PathRobotics #AI #Robotics #ColumbusTech #FoundationalModels

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve heard on a cold call: “We bought a robot and now it just sits in the corner collecting dust” Or: “They sold us a robot, and we never heard from them again" That’s the kind of experience we’re working hard to change. At Path Robotics, we’ve built out a Mission Control team that monitors every deployed system in real time. We’re not just dropping off a robot and disappearing, we’re right there with you, making sure it’s running, improving, and actually adding value. If there’s ever an issue, chances are we’ve already spotted it. If something can be optimized, you’ll hear from us first. #WeldingAutomation #MissionControl #FabTech #TechInManufacturing Dakota Louth Tyren Cox Simon Melton John Paradise Matthew W. We created JobBuilder to eliminate bottlenecks and exceed basic weld setups in the energy sector. Forget coding, custom scripts, or waiting on system integrators. Upload your CAD model, mark the seams, and JobBuilder handles the rest. Every motion path and weld parameter is generated and optimized automatically. Our vision system delivers real-time, millimeter-accurate corrections for variations between CAD and reality. Wire speed, voltage, and torch angle adapt dynamically to each part, ensuring precision in the face of heavy, inconsistent components common in energy infrastructure. This is automation built for the scale and complexity of the energy industry, so let’s put JobBuilder to work for you.

🔗 On the Ground. In the Game. Michael Sharpe, CEO of the AUKUS Forum, brings something rare to the table: a view from the factory floor—across all three nations. From precision machining in Huddersfield 🇬🇧 To quantum-enabled innovation in Maryland 🇺🇸 To submarine readiness and skilled trades in Australia 🇦🇺 Michael isn’t just talking AUKUS—he’s walking it. Meeting with welders, machinists, researchers, and apprentices who are already building the future of our alliance. With the Pentagon’s AUKUS review in motion, now is the time to back capability with confidence. Michael’s message is clear: “Don’t just co-operate. Co-produce.” With AUKUS Connect, we’re championing this hands-on perspective—building bridges across supply chains, standards, and skills. Because the alliance isn’t built in boardrooms alone. It’s forged in workshops, tested in labs, and strengthened through collaboration. On this occasion, we met with the team at Path Robotics in Ohio. Let’s go further, faster—together.
