  • Out & Equal continues to lead the way on 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 with our Summer Webinar Series, which offered up-to-the-minute insight and expert guidance on workplace trends, shifting policy, and changes to the legal landscape. Between July 15 and 24, our team hosted four webinar events designed to help organizations take a strategic approach to today's evolving political and social climate. From empowering ERGs and allies to managing policy and legal changes related to workplace inclusion, these events tackled timely issues and brought together inclusion leaders, Partners, executives, HR leaders, and industry experts. Here was our takeaway from the series: ➡️ 𝗘𝗥𝗚𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹. Organizations still rely on BRGs and ERGs to help build a culture of belonging and align employees with business goals. ➡️ 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿. Organizations of all types are creating sustainable, scalable allyship programs across teams and leadership that align with business strategy. ➡️ 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘛𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘰𝘪𝘴𝘦. No matter the industry, location or workplace style – we’re all searching for real-time, accessible analysis of legal changes, administrative initiatives and business trends. With timely insights on topics related policy and legal developments impacting workplace inclusion – our regular series is not to be missed! ➡️ 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆. While there have been landmark Supreme Court rulings protecting LGBTQ+ communities in the workplace in recent years, they are not comprehensive or secure. We continue to advocate for the Equality Act, which would codify protections for employment, housing and public accommodations, shielding them from political whims. Thanks to everyone who took part in our Summer Webinar Series. Looking for more learning content from Out & Equal? • At Out & Equal, we’re marking International Nonbinary People’s Day with more than just awareness. We’re celebrating this community as it continues to grow in numbers, visibility and strength. We’re championing inclusion for nonbinary people, as political pressures and legislation threaten to narrow the definition of identity in America. We’re amplifying nonbinary voices as they call for workplace policies that prioritize belonging and reflect lived realities. And we’re partnering with organizations of all kinds to help build workplaces where nonbinary people are seen, affirmed and empowered to bring their true and authentic selves to their roles. Awareness is a start, but action is what we’re all about. Join us in bringing action to this celebration of nonbinary people throughout our country and around the world. #BusinessOfBelonging #InternationalNonbinaryPeoplesDay
