About us

On a mission to help end the food allergy epidemic, Mission MightyMe is a revolutionary food company founded by passionate parents of children with food allergies and world-renowned pediatric allergist Dr. Gideon Lack. Lack's groundbreaking LEAP (Learning Early About Peanut Allergy) Study, which found that including peanut protein in babies' diets early and often could help prevent peanut allergies, has changed infant feeding guidelines around the globe. Together with Lack, the Mission MightyMe team is launching a line of foods that make it deliciously simple for parents to follow new pediatric recommendations for including peanuts and other common food allergens in infant's diets. Mission MightyMe also gives back by supporting food allergy prevention research and education. For more information, visit missionmightyme.com.

  • We’re going NUTS at Mission MightyMe HQ today, because our Mixed Nut Butter Nutty Puffs were just named a Good Housekeeping Best Kids & Baby Snack of the Year!!!! 🏆🤩 👉🏼 To find the best snacks on the market, the Good Housekeeping Institute’s registered dietitians and culinary experts rigorously analyzed the ingredient lists, nutrition facts labels, packaging claims and flavor profiles of hundreds of submissions - and we’re thrilled that they concluded that Nutty Puffs are among the best of the best! 🌟 It’s especially meaningful that our Mixed Nut Butter Nutty Puffs were recognized, because there’s literally nothing like them in the world, which is exactly why we made them. They’re the first and only pediatrician-developed puffs, made with peanuts and multiple tree nuts that match the research, dissolve quickly for babies and taste delicious for big kids too, making it deliciously simple for parents to include a wide variety of nuts in their children’s diets early and often. This award is a huge milestone for our small company - Good Housekeeping is famous for its rigorous testing of ingredients and taste - and this award gives us extra confidence that we’re creating snacks parents, kids and the experts love. ❤️ 🔗 Read our blog to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gM-Kna4w 🔗 See the full list of winners here: https://lnkd.in/ej4EqP49#BestSnacks #MissionMightyMe #HealthySnackIdeas #GoodHousekeeping

  • ⭐️ Our co-founder Catherine Mitchell Jaxon is sharing a PSA for Food Allergy Awareness Month....something she wants all parents to know. “When our first child was born, we followed the common medical guidance at the time- avoid nuts and other common allergens during infancy. I had no idea that by avoiding nuts in infancy, I was actually dramatically increasing the chances she would develop an allergy. When she was three years old, we discovered she had already developed an allergy to multiple nuts. Today, I’m passionate about making sure that other families have the information that we didn’t.... Thanks to groundbreaking research like the LEAP and LEAP-Trio Studies, led by pediatric allergist & Mission MightyMeCo-Founder Dr. Gideon Lack, We now know that early & consistent introduction of peanut foods can reduce the risk of peanut allergies by up to 86%!” 👉🏼 Continue reading the Jaxon family’s story and what Catherine wants all parents to know: https://lnkd.in/d4vq_QYj#MissionMightyMe #FoodAllergyAwareness #FoodAllergyMom #FoodAllergy

  • 🥜 At Mission MightyMe, food allergy prevention isn’t just part of what we do, it’s our entire reason for being. During Allergy Awareness Week, we’re taking a moment to reflect on one of the most pivotal discoveries in food allergy history and the doctor who led the charge. Dr. Gideon Lack, our co-founder and a world-renowned pediatric allergist, didn’t just challenge the status quo - he changed it. His groundbreaking research proved that food allergies, especially peanut allergies, aren’t just inevitable. In fact, they’re largely preventable with the right approach, starting in infancy. ⭐️ 🚀 The Impact? A complete overhaul of pediatric feeding guidelines across the globe - and hope for a future with fewer food allergies. 🧡 This Food Allergy Awareness Week, we want to express our immense gratitude and appreciation for the truly revolutionary and trailblazing research contributions of Dr. Lack and his colleagues and research teams over the years. With his invaluable expertise, he’s also helped us here at Mission MightyMe perfect the first and only pediatrician-developed nut butter puffs made with peanuts and multiple tree nuts, making it deliciously simple for parents to include a wide variety of nuts in their children’s diets early and often, as pediatric guidelines now recommend. Learn how it all began, and more importantly, how Dr. Lack’s research can help protect your child for years to come: https://lnkd.in/eaysMMiG#MissionMightyMe #FoodAllergyAwareness #PeanutAllergy
