We closed out June with the grand opening of our new location in North Branch. Being a part of the community for more than 25 years, this fresh space reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting our members and making our communities stronger than ever. To celebrate the occasion, we were joined by the North Branch Fire Department, North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce, our members, partners, community members, and our employees. From giveaways to giving back to local organizations, the event was a powerful reminder of our mission — to make our communities stronger, our employees happier, and our world better. Here’s to building dreams, sharing joy, and changing lives!

It’s a wrap! Another successful Grandma’s Marathon is in the books! This past weekend was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when community, commitment, and collaboration come together. We’re proud to support an event and community that brings people together, from all over the world, in such meaningful and inspiring ways. We’re especially grateful to the runners and participants, spectators, and volunteers who make it all happen. We look forward to continuing this exciting tradition next year when Grandma's Marathon celebrates its 50th anniversary and Members Cooperative Credit Union celebrates our 90th!

Last night, the Members Cooperative Credit Union marketing team took home some bling at the 2025 America’s Credit Unions Diamond Awards ceremony, bringing home honors in the Brand Awareness and One-time Event categories. To be recognized as one of the best is an honor. For the awards to be tied to our commitment to supporting our communities and members is an even greater honor. Congratulations to our team of talented marketers (represented by Lesa)! We also want to applaud the other Diamond Award winners and extend a huge thank you to those who donate their time to judge the many outstanding entries. #mprd25

Unlike banks, credit unions are owned 100% by their members. No external shareholders, no private investors- it’s all owned by you and the members that make up our communities. But why does this matter? Each member of ours holds a $5 share, making them an owner with equal say in how we operate, regardless of their account balance. Equal shares, equal voice. As a not-for-profit financial institution, we reinvest our earnings back into our members- not shareholders, with great rates, low fees and personalized service. We also believe in giving back to the communities we serve. Last year alone, we: · Supported 300+ local charities, causes, and special events · Contributed 2,690+ volunteer hours from our dedicated team We’re able to live our community driven mission because of you- our members. Being a member pays in more ways than one, and we’re grateful for every one of ours.

This month, we launched a few updates to make our brand a little brighter and share our story a little better. While brightening our orange and adding some logo variations is a big deal, it’s not the work we’re most proud of. We also launched a pattern – designed by us, for our members and communities. The pattern encompasses our story – the past, present, and future. From where it all started, to subtle nods to our communities, and everything in between, the pattern was designed with the heart of a credit union in mind. The pattern will find a home on our website, in our branches, and on our swag. While we’re just getting started, we thought we’d share a sneak peek of what’s to come. PS: Visit https://lnkd.in/gR-tGFNe to learn more about our pattern.

On our twelfth and final day of giving, we’re honored to support the Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution (CSFD). This program is a partnership with Second Harvest Heartland that aims to end hunger in the community by distributing surplus food, such as overstocked, close-dated or bulk items, to individuals and families who are in crisis or whose income does not exceed federal poverty guidelines. Visit our blog to learn more about the 12 amazing nonprofits that were selected as this year’s recipients. https://lnkd.in/gzNUnQMi
