  • Big day today as we announce the first AI Product Manager to make sense of every session, conversation, and interaction across your product stack!

    View profile for Matthew Arbesfeld

Co-founder at LogRocket and Thiel Fellow

Today, I’m excited to announce Galileo: the first AI Product Manager designed to make sense of every session, conversation, and interaction across your product stack! When we started LogRocket 10 years ago, we envisioned a world where you could understand how each and every customer uses your product. Working with larger clients like Ramp, Costco, CapitalOne, and Amazon, we saw frustration as they couldn’t review every user session, support ticket, and customer interaction. After 5 years in development, Galileo AI is finally here. It automatically watches user sessions, analyzes feedback, and monitors product updates to highlight what's working and pinpoint user struggles. Leading brands already trust Galileo: The Common Application (yes— the one we used to apply to college) uses Galileo to identify issues as students apply to college. “Galileo has saved us countless hours, and it gives us the confidence to know that we are choosing the right issues to solve.”  Dave Tiss, Common App “LogRocket Galileo is like having another person working for you.” Chema Roldan, Genial.ly "LogRocket gives us the leverage to see which issues need to be fixed" Eric Jones, Tecovas Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the past decade as we've worked to make this dream a reality. As part of our launch we’re giving away some one-of-a-kind Galileo swag! Just comment “Galileo” to enter.

  • In our latest Leader Spotlight, Anand Narayanan reflects on what he got wrong as a first-time CPO — and how product leadership changes when your job shifts from building roadmaps to building clarity. He shares: • Why he now coaches PMs to stop “thinking in tasks” and start thinking in context • What design taught him about storytelling, framing, and influence • How misalignment hides in plain sight, even on well-run teams 👉 Read the full interview: https://lnkd.in/ev8sXK-v #productleadership #productleaders

    Sr. Content Marketing Manager @ LogRocket | Talks about #thoughtleadership, #product, #productmanagement, #techleadership, and #saas

Getting buy-in is critical — you won’t drive meaningful impact by trying to push people or teams to do things that they're not fundamentally invested in doing. I connected with Anand Narayanan, Head of Product, Jira Scale, and India Product Site Lead at Atlassian, recently to chat about his approach to leadership within the product function. Anand shared valuable leadership lessons acquired from working in the nonprofit sector earlier in his career. He offered thoughtful career path recommendations for PMs and also speculated on how a PM’s role may evolve given the prevalence and quick advancement of AI. Those considering a transition from B2C to B2B (or vice versa), or who are interested in gaining experience in a new vertical, will find this conversation especially insightful. Most PMs are still doing AI wrong. Neha Monga (ex-Lattice, Meta, and Amazon Product Leader) joined us on LaunchPod AI this week to show us what doing AI right looks like. Her team didn’t just talk about AI, they baked it into how they worked across meetings, prototyping, and customer feedback. The result? Faster validation. Smarter roadmaps. And fewer meetings. Here’s the TL;DR: ✅ 1. AI workflows are table stakes now ✅ 2. She used Claude + Figma Make to validate with customers—in hours ✅ 3. They built a “PM Intern” in Slack to surface insights instantly Check out the full episode below: 📰 Watch/listen/read & subscribe on Substack: https://lnkd.in/efK3iSww 📺 Watch on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/eYYPevjE 🎧 Listen on Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eaurbHX7 🎧 Listen on Apple: https://lnkd.in/eQhbSppC

  • We're not talking enough about the workplace attention crisis...or maybe we are, and we're just not listening to each other. But it's something we can all see and feel: leading teams productively is getting harder in a world where the average attention span keeps getting shorter. In this article, Kim Shyu talks about why this attention crisis is happening, how it's affecting our personal and professional relationships, and most importantly, what you can do about it. • TypeScript is about to get way faster. 💡 “The TypeScript team is porting TypeScript to Go, and that is going to improve performance by tenfold, if not more.” 1️⃣ 10x isn’t just hype. The early benchmarks are already showing massive speed gains. 2️⃣ Moving to Go unlocks parallel compilation, allowing large projects to compile in multiple threads. 3️⃣ This isn’t just a performance tweak, it’s a full port of the compiler to a new language, opening the door to long-term optimizations. Mike Hartington, Director of Developer Relations at Nx, joined PodRocket to talk about this big shift. If you care about TypeScript performance, this is the update to watch. • On this episode of PodRocket, Kent C. Dodds poses the question: if Jarvis becomes the new browser, are you ready to rethink the entire stack? With MCP servers acting as the backend for AI agents, this shift could fundamentally change how we build for the web: 1️⃣ Websites as we know them might disappear, replaced by MCP servers serving agent requests instead of human clicks. 2️⃣ Developers could move from designing pages for browsers to designing interactions for AI-driven clients. 3️⃣ Just like most people work on websites today, not browsers, the future might see most of us building MCP servers, not traditional sites. • New LaunchPod Ep! Don't let retention be an afterthought!

Ken Houseman knew retention couldn’t be an afterthought, especially not when you’re dealing with 10 million subscribers. At Zuora, he reframed payments as more than a back-office utility and instead treated them as a strategic growth lever, one that could reduce churn, improve margins, and unlock global expansion. On this week’s LaunchPod episode, Ken breaks down how his team at Zuora built smarter retry systems, restructured their payments product, and used AI to go from PRD to a clickable prototype in under a week. TL;DR: ✅ Turned a fragmented payments system into a modular product that fuels retention ✅ Built retry intelligence using 17 years of subscription data, reducing involuntary churn ✅ Used Claude, ChatGPT, and Replit to build prototypes in days instead of months Check out the full episode below: 📰 Watch/listen/read & subscribe on Substack: https://lnkd.in/eXBExQwp 📺 Watch on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/eed3t6eJ 🎧 Listen on Spotify: https://lnkd.in/e8Eh-FVM 🎧 Listen on Apple: https://lnkd.in/eBpQwhDS

“It’s really important to stay flexible. I try to keep my ego out of it and stay focused on the outcome. Is the goal to ship this widget, or is it to solve the problem that the widget was supposed to address? If it’s not moving as close to that goal, then I’m ready to pivot. There’s a lot of cost thinking in product, so I try to be aware of that in my role. I also like to give ideas a little bit of room. If there’s a strong signal in the feedback or a structural reason why something needs more time to play out, then I give it the time. Or, if something is working but needs some small tweaks, I stick with it and we make the tweaks. A big pillar of product is iteration, and understanding if you need to make some changes or if the path you’re going down is a dead end takes the right metrics.” I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Nora Keller of Creative Market about how curiosity can often surface gaps or assumptions that would otherwise be missed. She talked about the importance of building a culture of openness, transparency, and diverse perspectives. Nora also discussed how Creative Market continues to emphasize the human touch in a world of AI. Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/edRfj25N #ProductLeadership #ProductStrategy

Retaining customers is the name of the game: even a 0.1% change in churn can decimate your growth. Tomorrow on LaunchPod, our host Jeff Wharton talks to Ken Houseman, VP of Product at Zuora, about what mistakes to avoid when addressing churn and how you can move toward retention-led growth.
