Last Friday, our team members Jennifer Dow and Briana O’Leary delivered our cold-weather bag donations to Pendleton Place and had the opportunity to tour their facilities. Pendleton Place provides critical support for children and families in Greenville facing foster care, homelessness, poverty, and trauma. Seeing their work up close was inspiring, and we’re proud to continue building this partnership. Delivering complex energy infrastructure takes horsepower, but it also takes engineering precision. Logisticus Group just completed a southeast-to-Midwest cross-country move of a Main Power Transformer. The unit was picked up in South Carolina and delivered to a project site in Ohio. The solar project presented two major challenges: The access roads on-site were impassable for an over-the-road trailer due to tight, narrow turns. A weight-restricted bridge prevented loads of this size from crossing. Our solution: transload the MPT from a 139' long over-the-road trailer (loaded weight 260,000 lbs) to a 43' Self-Propelled Modular Trailer (SPMT), which could navigate the tight turns and significantly reduce the overall weight. Since the transformer weighed 160,000 lbs and the SPMT loaded weight was 235,000 lbs, we also deployed a 20' bridge jumper—completely removing the load from the weight-restricted bridge. Despite aging infrastructure and DOT differences between SC and OH, the project was delivered on time and on budget. #LogisticsSolutions #HeavyHaul #EnergyInfrastructure #EnergyLogistics

Our Head of Warehouse Operations, Bryan Jordan, recently shared how companies are making smarter location decisions by weighing factors like storage costs and taxes, proximity to manufacturers, access to ports, and positioning near project sites. Some are even building redundancy across regions to minimize risk. The takeaway?
