Creativity, fun fabrics, volunteering? Count us in! Last week we continued our celebration of #VolunteerMonth with FABSCRAP – a nonprofit focused on extending the life of fabrics. Associates repurposing textile scraps to revamp clothing and decorate bags was the perfect creative break for our crew. What more could we ask for! ✨

As part of our #VolunteerMonth celebrations, we’re sharing stories from the people behind our Volunteer Council. The mission of this group is to foster connection and community, by creating engaging volunteer events, spreading the word on our philanthropic partnerships, and encouraging others to make a positive impact at Ann Taylor & LOFT.   👋 Meet Brooke, Assistant Vice President, Sourcing Strategy & Operations! She loves the community she’s discovered over 11 years of volunteering at Ann Taylor & LOFT, from participating in on-site events to donating proceeds from sample merchandise sales. She explains, “Volunteering is a great way to step out of your day job, get involved in a cause, and connect with other associates. Festival-ready LOFT looks, custom denim, celeb drop-ins—the good vibes were non-stop last weekend.    Kicking off the Summer of LOFT in the Coachella Valley was all about celebrating fashion, music, and culture. LOFT transformed the Ace Hotel pool in Palm Springs where 350+ festival goers experienced our Summer of LOFT Market Stand. From custom bag charms to festival essentials, there was no better place to celebrate the festival season.   At the Camp Poosh event, 1000 guests, including actress Emma Roberts, were treated to a LOFT denim bar. Seeing our guests customizing LOFT denim jackets, enjoying the music, and celebrating our summer collection drop was truly an energy boost.   Curious to see how it went?
