  • Congratulations to Senior General Manager Deb (Deborah) Pyznarski on her selection into the latest class of BOMA International’s Fellows program!    As the first member in BOMA/Suburban Chicago’s history to join the elite group of fewer than 70 U.S. professionals, this recognition is a testament to Deb’s exemplary dedication to the real estate industry across all levels.    Lincoln is beyond proud to have Deb as part of our family for nearly 40 years. Join us in wishing her all the best in the exciting road ahead!

  • At Lincoln’s Legacy Union development in Uptown Charlotte, two large-scale commissions pushed the boundaries for artists Thomas Gleaner and Halsey Hathaway—marking bold moments in vision and scale. ‘Refrain 32’ and ‘Refrain 33’ by Thomas Gleaner were the largest professional works of his career at the time of commission—layering abstracted text and color to explore the noise and nuance of modern communication. Installed at Honeywell’s Charlotte HQ, the pieces invite viewers to reflect on how we process meaning in a chaotic world. Halsey Hathaway’s four paintings for 6HUNDRED were the largest he’s ever created—so expansive they pushed the physical limits of his studio. Defined by intersecting, curvilinear shapes and layered color, Hathaway’s work combines stained and densely painted acrylic to create depth and movement from every angle. These pieces are part of the broader Lincoln x SOCO Gallery art program, which brings original, curated works to properties across the Carolinas—amplifying local voices and transforming everyday environments into places of inspiration. • The devastation in the heart of the state we call home weighs heavily on all of us at Lincoln. We grieve alongside those who have endured unimaginable loss.   As a company deeply connected to Texas, we are reminded of the strength and resilience of this community. The courage of first responders, the work of local organizations and the quiet heroism of neighbors helping neighbors inspire us all.   Through the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, we support those working tirelessly to bring relief and uplift our neighbors in their time of greatest need. https://lnkd.in/ghbb3xBM

  • Now streaming: Season 2 of the Building LA Podcast! Hosted by our VP of Development Sam Pepper, RA, this season dives deep into the forces shaping Los Angeles through the lens of commercial real estate, development and policy — backed by Sam’s 14+ years of experience in the field. Here’s a look at the first three episodes: 🎙️ First up, Sam is joined by Managing Director at CBRE Jessica Lall and veteran broker Carl Muhlstein, founder of Muhlstein CRE to unpack the structural challenges, competitive barriers and civic forces driving the future of LA’s built environment.   🎙️ Next, don't miss an interview with Spencer B. Kallick, Land Use Attorney and Operating Partner of Allen Matkins. They reveal the true impacts of the new CEQA rollback, and discuss in detail whether or not it will unlock more housing development in California.   🎙️ Finally, Vishaan Chakrabarti, FAIA, architect, planner and Founder of Practice for Architecture and Urbanism (PAU), takes the mic to discuss factors affecting LA's repositioning — potential cultural shifts, response to wildfires and why a stronger tax base is critical for LA’s future.   Don't miss these thoughtful, candid conversations.    🎧 Tune in on your favorite streaming platform or visit the Building LA Podcast website: https://lnkd.in/eVZbkt-A The views and opinions expressed in this podcast represent the views of the individual speakers, interviewers, or guests alone, and do not necessarily reflect the official positions, views, or opinions of Lincoln Property Company or any of its affiliates.

  • Having cemented Lincoln’s position as the largest apartment development firm in the U.S. by the 1970s, we began diversifying our approach, building townhomes, condominiums, high-rise office buildings, industrial properties, retail centers and hotels. What was the “secret sauce” in our business model? We created meaningful relationships with local operating partners, empowering them to take ownership of every project we delivered. Around this time, we also opened our Commercial Property Division, building its first high-rise office structure in Dallas. • At Lincoln’s 6HUNDRED office building in Charlotte, curated artwork transforms the lobby into a place of reflection and connection.   ‘NECTAR’ by Anne Lemanski invites viewers into a layered meditation on the natural world and humanity’s connection to nature. The work features North Carolina’s native flora and fauna in vivid, intricate detail.   ‘La Montañera’ by Katrina Sánchez explores connection, healing and security through soft sculpture – encouraging tactile curiosity through vibrant color and texture. The artist employs bold colors and waves, suggestive of mountains.   Both pieces are part of our ongoing partnership with SOCO Gallery to bring local and underrepresented artists into the heart of Lincoln properties across the Carolinas. At 6HUNDRED, the result is a space where art serves as an invitation – not just to look at, but to experience.   See the full blog: https://lnkd.in/ebxNnz5q
