An absolutely inspiring evening at the 2025 The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Hot Pink Party in New York. A walk on the pink carpet, a performance by Sting, a photo with the evening’s host, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. Breast Cancer Campaign Global Ambassador, Elizabeth Hurley – all for an amazing cause. We are grateful some of our associates were able to experience this event. The BCRF Hot Pink Party is an annual fundraiser that raises awareness and support for breast cancer research. It is also an opportunity to recognize amazing individuals who are contributing through their time and talents to BCRF’s work. We are so proud to be one of BCRF’s leading corporate partners. With our associates and our customers, we have raised more than $70 million over the last 20 years in support of BCRF. And we will continue to partner until we have reached the ultimate goal – to eradicate breast cancer– forever. A huge congratulations to Donna McKay, Karen Hale and the BCRF team for raising over $11 million – a record-breaking event!

Yesterday I found myself in amazing company with Kecia Steelman, Lori Singer, Beth Ford, and Jill Schurtz as we were all recognized with Outstanding Mother Awards by the National Mother's Day Committee (The Father's Day/Mother's Day Council, Inc.). All of the proceeds from this incredible event, in its 47th year, benefitted No Kid Hungry. I am profoundly grateful for the friends, business partners and team members who were there to experience the event with me. And I would like to give a special shout out to my children, Alexandra and Nikolai, for their video introduction. They make me proud every single day and without them, I couldn’t have received this recognition! ❤️   The Outstanding Mother Awards recognize and celebrate women who are having a positive impact within families, in business and in the community. This is a part of my life that I consider to be a great privilege and a responsibility that I take very seriously. And I believe that we are in a moment where mothers, those like mothers, and other role models are critically important.   In my lifetime we have come very far. Women are CEO’s, scientists, thought leaders, cultural icons, and so much more. Beneath the surface, however, the tug of war still exists – can I really be a mom, and a leader, and a friend, and, and, and? As we go into this Mother’s Day weekend, let’s stand up behind and beside the women and young women in our lives and let them know that they can be whatever and whomever they choose to be. And I will personally continue every day to give women the confidence to find their voices and write their stories because they own their power.   Happy Mother’s Day!

  • We’re looking back on a recent #VolunteerMonth conversation with our partner Delivering Good. Our panel brought together leaders from KnitWell Group and Delivering Good, Inc. to explore how partnerships between brands and nonprofits can create meaningful change. Here are our favorite quotes from Lisa Pisano, Chief Revenue Officer at KnitWell Group, and Matthew Fasciano, President and CEO of Delivering Good.   Delivering Good connects individuals and families in need with new products that open doors to hope, dignity, and opportunity. Last year, Lisa joined the board of Delivering Good with the goal to provide guidance to help them scale. Collectively across our brands, we’ve donated $45 million of product to communities in need since partnering with Delivering Good in 2007.   We’re so thankful to our 300+ associates who joined this conversation and all the ways our teams volunteer and help support Delivering Good not only this month, but year-round. #NationalVolunteerMonth #KnitWellGroup #Community

  • At KnitWell Group, we are all about uniting our brands and people to make a difference. Earlier this month, our associate volunteers invited our partner, Delivering Good, to join us at our New York City offices. Our team set up a photoshoot to capture Delivering Good's comfort kits, which will be distributed to those in need during disasters. Members of our community who have been helped by Delivering Good’s services received donated new merchandise and essentials to help inspire confidence for job interviews and beyond. Check out some scenes from the day. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered with us! #NationalVolunteerMonth #KnitWellGroup Delivering Good, Inc.

  • The Summer of LOFT, which celebrates fashion, music & culture, has officially kicked off in the Coachella Valley!   LOFT took over the Ace Hotel pool in Palm Springs, CA the entire first weekend of Coachella, enticing guests with a Summer of LOFT Market Stand full of festival essentials, Summer of LOFT Totes, and Custom bag charms. More than 350 festival goers were greeted with our vintage LOFT Bronco and came through the activation to grab their exclusive Summer of LOFT merch and post and tag the brand to social.   In addition, LOFT X Camp @Poosh hosted a private event with more than 1,000 guests, including actress, Emma Roberts, dressed head to toe in LOFT. Attendees were treated to a denim bar where they had the opportunity to customize a LOFT denim jacket with LOFT ❤️ Poosh patches and other exciting embellishments.   LOFT has the perfect pieces for Festival Season and all your concerts this summer. From fun, feminine dresses to tanks, bohemian blouses, and DENIM. But don’t take our word for it – take Emma’s.   “LOFT’s summer collection caught me off guard—in the best way! I’m excited to incorporate their pieces into my summer wardrobe.”   Same, Emma…same.

  • Consulting firm, AlixPartners, just released their Consumer Sentiment Index for the first time since 2009. And Ann Taylor came out on top of the Contemporary Specialty Retail sector. This honor is based on the responses of consumers via an online survey for performance across five pillars of excellence - Access, Experience, Price, Product, and Service.   Congratulations to the Ann Taylor team for this incredible recognition. At 70 years young, this brand is just getting started. https://lnkd.in/gSgaDfms

As part of the launch of KnitWell Group's Sisterhood of Strength Campaign in support of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, I had the opportunity to sit down with BCRF's President and CEO, Donna McKay. We had a wonderful conversation about the incredible work they are doing, the importance of research in the fight against breast cancer, and how people can get involved. We hope you will join our Sisterhood of Strength.
