The JEP has been serving Jersey, a self-governing British Crown Dependency and the largest of the Channel Islands, since 1890. With over 1.5 million page views jerseyeveningpost.com presents attractive opportunities for advertising and promotion - both in the core site and in special sections on Shopping, Motoring, Jobs, Property, Sport and Food. The site has developed a loyal following at home and abroad to become Jersey’s premier online resource for news, comment and advertising. In February 2016 the Jersey Evening Post relaunched their Jobs platform to include even more positions in the Island, including independent roles and states jobs as well as vacancies from local recruitment agencies and allow users to register for email alerts. Visitors can register their requirements and receive notifications by email, by using key words or specific-sector searches which select relevant roles, or browse categories populated entirely by local opportunities. The ambition was to create a site that would quickly become the first port of call for local-job hunters and recruiters, in addition to the Jersey Evening Post, which has a long and well-established reputation for featuring the very latest vacancies every day in its classified recruitment section.
