🐾 Pet-Lovers Meet-Up at 1627 on the Strip! 🐾 This past week, we hosted an adorable and heartwarming event for our residents featuring two amazing local animal rescues — Oakland TNR Coalition and Cross Your Paws Rescue. Residents got to meet some sweet, adoptable furry friends: 🐱 Pickles the grown-up charmer, and Beatbox & Buzzball the energetic kitten duo, brought by Oakland TNR 🐶 Millie, a lovable Great Dane mix from Cross Your Paws To make it extra special: 🍋 We served lemonade and homemade “puppy chow” (for humans, of course!) 🎨 Residents decorated blank bandanas for their own pets 🎁 A local vet clinic, PetVet365, joined us with pet treats, toys, and great advice 📦 In the weeks leading up to the event, we collected donations in the lobby for both rescues to take with them Best part? One of our tenants has already submitted an adoption application for Pickles! Another is seriously considering the kittens 🐾 Fingers crossed!
