  • Chef Girish Kumar is the Director of Culinary for Griffith Foods Middle East. Growing up in India, Chef Girish Kumar was overwhelmed by foods that were just too hot and spicy. “As a kid, most foods that we ate were just too hot. Adding something sweet like honey and jaggery became a savior for me,” says Girish. In this pan-seared sea bass, Chef Girish combines spicy kerala curry with sweet mango relish for a refreshing and a satisfying experience where heat meets sweet. Check out our latest FlavorIQ® Food & Flavor Outlook culinary theme to find: - Recipe ideas including Pan-Seared Sea Bass - 5 ways to layer sweet heat - Tips and techniques to find the right balance of sweet and heat View the recipe in Heat Meets Sweet – part of our 2025 FlavorIQ® Food & Flavor Outlook. https://bit.ly/3Gcvx00

  • Our Griffith Foods’ team had an incredible time hosting an immersive offsite experience during the The Aspen Institute's Climate Chicago event! It was such a joy to dive into the “hidden middle” of the food value chain with a wonderfully curious and group of climate champions, all eager to explore how we can grow climate-smart solutions together. We rolled up our sleeves with case studies, hands-on activities, and even a little culinary magic to show that when we collaborate and share ownership, we can build a more resilient, regenerative food system that truly matters. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your passion and curiosity are driving real progress toward bold climate ambitions. Here’s to continuing the conversation and advancing solutions that make a difference! #AspenideasChicago #GriffithFoods #RegenerativeAgriculture

  • Consumer expectations are evolving, and fries are stepping into the spotlight. 🍟 With 89% of Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) customers in Europe ordering fries, it’s no longer enough to serve them plain. One in three fries-based dishes now feature toppings or flavour enhancements, and this demand for variety is only growing. Griffith Foods is here to help brands respond with purpose. With our versatile portfolio of Seasonings, Sauces & Dressings, Coatings, and Alternative Proteins, we develop bold, trend-led dishes like Mexican Style Birria Loaded Fries and Asian Vietnamese Street Fries that drive both craveability and differentiation. 🌍 The opportunity is big. Let’s make the most of it: https://lnkd.in/eRvaz5-5 #GriffithFoods #QSRInnovation #FoodserviceSolutions #FlavourForward #LoadedFries #FoodTrends #ConsumerInsights

  • Demand for all things sweet and spicy is heating up menus and retail shelves around the world. Jalapeño-infused agave nectar, spiced-chocolate mole negro and subtly sweet gochujang are just a few of the ingredients and flavor combinations that can deliver adventure and excitement while still feeling accessible to a larger audience. Watch this video featuring Chef Girish Kumar, Director of Culinary for Griffith Foods Middle East, as he shares his story of how he was drawn to the combination of sweet and spicy foods. Growing up in India, spicy foods were just a little too hot for a child’s pallet. Combining sweet ingredients like honey and jaggery helped balanced the heat from traditional foods.
