Last week, Govini CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty and SVP Louis Bergeron joined the Association of the United States Army - AUSA's “Hot Topic: Revolutionizing Contracting and Procurement via Speed, Execution, and Innovation” event, to explore the challenges to Army transformation and how to solve for them.    The panels tackled how to speed up the Army’s acquisition lifecycle and contracting goals for the Army’s transformation, including the Next Generation Command and Control program, highlighting the valuable role that AI, data, and software can play across the entire acquisition lifecycle.

The resilience of U.S. defense capabilities hinges on the integrity of its industrial base. Ark surfaces an alarming reality – more than 45,000 Chinese-based suppliers are embedded within the supply chains of key U.S. weapon systems, including strategic platforms such as the B-2 bomber, the Ohio-class submarine, and the Patriot missile.   As The New Yorker explains in a recent piece, adversaries could sever access to critical components during conflict, halting production and undermining readiness at the worst possible moment. https://lnkd.in/gU5v7rXN

With the Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) prototype, we helped commanders integrate logistics and sustainment data across domains, visualize the battlespace and accelerate decisions under operational stress. Today, the U.S. Army announced the next phase of NGC2, which means we will continue to leverage advanced software capabilities to support mission command and decision-making, alongside Anduril Industries, Palantir Technologies, Microsoft, Striveworks, Instant Connect Enterprise, and Research Innovations Incorporated. https://lnkd.in/eb63UsFh

Last week, CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty joined defense leaders at the Software in Defense Coalition to discuss modernizing Air Force sustainment, through the lens of the legendary C-130, a backbone of U.S. and allied operations for decades. Emerging technologies like AI-driven maintenance and advanced manufacturing are critical to reshoring competitive capabilities to the U.S.  We are proud to contribute to shaping a smarter, faster, and more resilient sustainment ecosystem.
