Black Hat kicks off tomorrow, and you’ll hear plenty of vendors talk about rotating credentials, locking down service accounts, or better managing access approvals. Rolling the dice with legacy PAM? None of that works at scale, especially when the identities you're securing aren't human. Traditional PAM systems were never designed to handle non-human access. They assume long-lived credentials, manual approvals, and static infrastructure. That breaks the second you add ephemeral workloads, autonomous agents, CI/CD pipelines, or AI. Teleport was built to secure infrastructure that changes fast, runs everywhere, and isn’t operated by humans. Book a demo with us at #BHUSA Booth 1359 to see it live: https://lnkd.in/dAcADh-v

✨ This is the time of year I look forward to most: diving into the latest in security and connecting with the community at the biggest Security Summer Camp of the year! Excited to be heading to Vegas next week with the incredible team from Teleport! 🕵🏼♂️ Come find me at BlackHat - booth #1359; you can't miss us, we'll be right beside our awesome neighbors Akamai Technologies, Tines, and Rubrik. We'll be talking all things security and innovation: identity-native access, future of trusted computing, and handing out some swags. And for everyone attending BlackHat , DEF CON,Security BSides Las Vegas, Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS), etc., a friendly community reminder: stay vigilant, watch out for the tamagotchi dolphins, and unattended USB cables; and maybe pack a little tinfoil !! 😇 👉 DM or Drop a comment below if you'll be there! 👇 Would love to catch up. #BlackHat2025 #BHUSA #InfoSec #CybersecurityCommunity #Teleport #SecureAccess #Vegas #DEFCON #WIT #WiCyS #AIML #AISafety

At Teleport Identity Summit 2025, two of the industry's most forward-thinking leaders will take the stage to explore the next era of identity security. Ev Kontsevoy, CEO of Teleport, will share why traditional identity models are no longer working—and what companies must do to adapt. Sasha Klizhentas, CTO of Teleport, will discuss how AI is reshaping the identity landscape and how Teleport is using machine learning to illuminate hidden risks across infrastructure environments. If you're building for resilience and scalability in the face of AI-driven change, this is the event to attend. Managing secrets steals bandwidth from engineering tasks. Teleport Machine & Workload Identity removes long-lived credentials from deployment pipelines and gives engineers secure access to services—without needing to handle service account keys or rotate tokens. Teleport reduces friction so engineering teams can focus on building and delivering faster. Explore the details: https://lnkd.in/g5ZymZPd

🤫 Secrets get passed around in Slack. Tokens get hardcoded into scripts. Vaults get ignored the second they break a deployment. Are you gambling with your infrastructure? 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐬. It removes them. - Ephemeral, signed identities - No vaults to rotate - No credentials to leak - Bots and humans treated the same Engineers shouldn’t have to choose between speed and safety. With Teleport, they don’t have to. We’ll show you how it works at #BHUSA Black Hat at Booth 1359: https://lnkd.in/dAcADh-v

Congrats, Lalit Choda, on the launch of the Non-Human / Machine Identity program 🎉
Founder & CEO @ Non-Human Identity Mgmt Group | Mr. NHI | Keynote Speaker | Top Identity & Cybersecurity Voice | Executive Board Advisor | CISO / CxO Advisory Services
Huge Announcement - I am thrilled to share the formal launch of the 12 week Non-Human / Machine Identity program, based on the strategic partnership between our NHI Mgmt Group, the Cybersymposiums group and the Cloud Security Alliance. See https://lnkd.in/enNFeQFa We have 2 great panel sessions to kick off the program, with an amazing set of guest speakers : “The Rise of Machines: Securing Non-Human Identities in a Connected World" - with Matthias Reinwarth, Steven Rennick, Daniel Cohen, Paul Lanzi and Joshua Wilson, M.S., CISSP. "Non-Human / Machine Identities - Why Now, Why Should You Be Conerned" - with Sebastian Rohr, Anusha Iyer , Anthony Viggiano, Joshua Wilson, M.S., CISSP and James Hauswirth. We will have close close to 40 panel sessions in total during the program, with over 50 industry experts and all will be FREE to watch. Our current sponsors : Corsha, Token Security, SailPoint, Aembit, P0 Security, GitGuardian, and Andromeda Security will also be sharing interviews and demos on their product capabilities, including perspectives on the Non-Human / Machine Identity management challenge and how they tackle it. Join us for what will be our biggest NHI program to date, by #MrNHI and our NHI Mgmt Group.

MCP & Agents are awesome for productivity. But how can you keep them from deleting your production database? Leaking sensitive data? Solution: 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐂𝐏 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐈. I enjoyed this post by Boris Kurktchiev, Dylan S., and Thierno Diallo that gives an overview of security challenges with MCP and proposes an identity-first solution for AI infrastructure. Security challenges like: * Over-privileged access patterns * Credential management failures (e.g. long-lived static keys) * Audit and compliance blindness * ... 💡 The idea: use a single identity model that encompasses humans, machines, workloads and AI systems. With each MCP server receiving a unique, cryptographically backed identity that you can authenticate and authorize for specific tasks. Example: ❌ Persistent database credentials ✅ The system requests just-in-time access tokens for specific queries or data sets So you can attribute AI queries to specific individuals and business purposes. Neat! Thanks to my friends at Teleport for sharing this post with me. https://lnkd.in/g4gbJrAK #cybersecurity
