On June 26, 2025, the Dallas County Human Resources Benefits Division proudly hosted our annual Health and Benefits Fair, themed “Home Run to Health 2025”. Held as a cornerstone event in our wellness calendar, the fair brought together a dynamic mix of vendors, resources, and services aimed at supporting the holistic well-being of Dallas County employees. This year’s event featured an impressive lineup of benefits providers, health and wellness vendors, and community partners from across Dallas County. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from medical, dental, vision, retirement, mental health, and fitness services, gaining valuable information about their benefits and accessing tools to make informed choices for themselves and their families. Interactive booths, free health screenings, giveaways, and wellness consultations were offered throughout the day, encouraging employees to take a proactive approach to their physical, emotional, and financial health. The event also served as a platform for employees to ask questions, explore benefit enhancements, and learn about wellness initiatives and programs available year-round. A heartfelt thank you goes to our outstanding coordination team: Yulonda Fletcher, Christopher Land, and Ashley Smith, whose dedication, planning, and seamless execution ensured a successful and engaging experience for all. Their efforts exemplified the spirit of teamwork and commitment to employee wellness that drives our HR division. 👏 Dallas County is raising the bar for how communities support working parents—and we’re proud to be part of it. In this innovative pilot program, the County is launching a tri-share model: 👨👩👧 The cost of Child Care is split three ways—between the employer, the employee, and the County. Here’s the game-changer: 💵 For every dollar a Dallas County employer contributes to help their employees pay for Child Care, the County will match it, dollar-for-dollar. That means twice the support for working families—and a big step toward solving one of today’s toughest challenges. TOOTRiS is proud to power this program, providing real-time access to Child Care so parents can work, children can thrive, and businesses can grow. This is how you build stronger families, stronger businesses, and stronger communities—together.
