It's National Intern Day! At CRB, we design and build some of the most powerful facilities in the world—those that change lives. And this summer, our interns stepped up to help turn that mission into reality. They’ve teamed up with our subject matter experts, learned through hands-on mentorship, and made real contributions to projects in food & beverage and life sciences—not just observing, but actively shaping what’s next. And when the hard work paused, they served up ice cream as “ice breakers,” battled it out in Mario Kart, and gave back through service with Ronald McDonald House. It's been a summer of showing up, learning, doing the work, and having fun. To our interns: thank you for your energy, your ideas, and the impact you’ve made. #NationalInternDay #CRBInterns #FutureLeaders #LifeSciences #FoodAndBeverage #MentorshipMatters #RealWorldExperience #TeamCRB #Yello #WayUp

Our Human Resources teams across the U.S. have been stepping up and giving back this summer — from Kansas City to Colorado, Philadelphia to St. Louis. In Kansas City, our group teamed up with Giving the Basics to provide essential hygiene products to individuals and families in need. In Colorado Springs, our Director of Leadership and Organizational Development, Dustin Kelley, joined Care and Share Food Bank to help sort and distribute food to fight hunger across 31 counties. In Philadelphia, our teams volunteered with Cradles to Crayons, packing book bundles for children to support literacy and imagination. And in St. Louis, our HR team recruited our interns and some of our Control Systems Integrations folks to serve dinner and host games and crafts for caregivers and families at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital. We’re proud of our people for finding meaningful ways to make a difference in the communities where we live and work. Let’s keep it going! #CRBlife #Volunteerism #Teamwork #CorporateResponsibility

📉 Lead times are rising. Price pressures are shifting. Our latest Q2 2025 Market Conditions Report is your must-read guide to what’s really happening in procurement. Despite signs of stabilization in global supply chains, CRB’s lead time database shows volatility creeping back in — with over 32% of equipment now facing increased delays. Meanwhile, price trends are caught in a tug-of-war: subdued demand is holding some costs steady, but tariffs are fueling unpredictable spikes across key materials. If you’re planning a capital project in the next 18 months, you need this intel now. Think risk assessments slow you down? Think again. In biomanufacturing, they're a launch pad for faster, smarter, and safer innovation. Regulators demand them. Patients depend on them. And without them, you could be gambling on outdated "we've always done it this way" thinking. In a new CRB Insights article, Marc Pelletier, Amanda Schaller, and Todd Fritz break down how modern risk assessments—from established FMEAs to advanced CLARA methodologies—empower manufacturers to move boldly while avoiding costly rework, regulatory headaches, and patient harm. Ready to ditch legacy thinking and design facilities that are leaner, cleaner, and truly future-proof? Read on to see how the risk strategy moves from constraint to competitive advantage. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gxAwy-9E

A huge thank you to our Project Manager Simone Grether for organizing this insightful site visit with our Lonza partners: Damian Grichting, Ellen O'Driscoll, and Pierfrancesco Scassellati. Walking through the facility in Visp, Switzerland, before official commissioning was a powerful moment — seeing our design come to life and knowing it's soon to produce pharmaceutical products for people in need is incredibly rewarding. This time, we brought the whole team: not just our engineers, but also colleagues from enterprise and non-engineering functions. Everyone plays a crucial role in the workflow, and being on-site together made that more tangible than ever. Thanks again to our amazing partners at Lonza for making this visit possible. We’re already looking forward to the next one! #Teamwork #EngineeringInAction #Lonza #CRB #SiteVisit #PharmaEngineering #ProjectExecution
