From startup idea → $8M in funding. 📈💸 A few weeks ago I announced some HUGE news. Brij raised an $8M oversubscribed funding round! 🎉 This week, I want to break down exactly how we got here - and how other startup founders can, too.👇🏼 Here’s the truth: it didn’t happen overnight. We didn’t have a viral launch or a flashy pitch deck. We had a real problem - and a relentless drive to solve it. So how did we go from an idea → a fully backed company trusted by 150+ brands like The HEINEKEN Company , Feastables, Skullcandy Inc. & more? Here’s what worked for us: 1️⃣ Start with a real, costly problem. I kept hearing the same thing as a former retail investor: “We sell in retail… but we have no idea who our customer is.” That wasn’t just a frustration. It was a trillion-dollar gap. 😳 2️⃣ Quantify your value ASAP. We didn’t just say “this is helpful.” We proved Brij drove $85+ per profile and 10x the conversion vs. other tools. That kind of ROI gets attention. 👀 3️⃣ Demonstrate early traction. We started with a lightweight MVP and onboarded a few early adopters. Every win became part of our story. Every brand helped shape what Brij is now! 🙌🏻 4️⃣ Build your story, not just your product. We didn’t wait for the perfect moment to tell our story - we told the story as it unfolded. Through content, investor conversations, and customer proof. 📲 5️⃣ Invest in the right team. NONE of this happens alone. Co-building with @Zack Morrison has been one of the greatest decisions of my life! Plus, we hired a rockstar team of innovators and developers. 👥 This journey has been full of long nights, hard pivots, and big bets. But I hope this post is a reminder that raising funding isn’t reserved for a select few… If you’re building something real, there’s room for you too. 💙💪🏻

The old DTC playbook is broken... And no one handed us a new one. As a former retail investor, I kept hearing the same thing: 👉 “We're excited to be on retail shelves, but we wish we knew who was buying.” That gap between point of sale and real connection? It was everywhere. At the same time, DTC brands were hitting a wall - and turning to retail for growth. Now? Every modern brand is becoming an omnichannel brand. But here’s the part no one’s talking about: You don't need to sell everywhere; You need to *connect* everywhere. Because if you’re scaling without data, ownership, or community, you’re not building a brand. You’re building a black box. Takeaways for marketers & retail leaders: 📍Retail ≠ relationship. You have to build connection after the transaction. 📍DTC is no longer a standalone strategy. It’s one channel in a larger ecosystem. 📍The future isn’t either/or. It’s and. DTC and Amazon. Wholesale and owned community. If you're navigating this shift too, I’d love to hear what’s working for you! Drop your thoughts or strategies below.

Offline channels (i.e. retail, Amazon, TikTok Shop) are incredible places to capture 1P data. This is why Brij exists! Once that data is collected, it's passed to tools like Klaviyo which drive revenue and retention. Paired with intent scoring - enter Mailability.io - there's a huge opportunity to be more thoughtful with how customers are touched. Big congrats to Ido Segev and his team on what they're building. I teamed up with Sarah (Davidson) Molloy, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Brij, to talk about how offline channels can drive 5x more email opt-ins - and what that means for brands heading into BFCM 2025. Together with Mailability.io, we built a strategy to turn real-world interactions into real Klaviyo revenue. Because here’s the thing: Most brands still treat offline engagement as a dead end. But when connected to Klaviyo and paired with AI-driven intent scoring - it becomes one of your strongest growth levers. Here’s the 3-step approach we mapped out: 👉 Use Brij to capture emails from QR scans, packaging, digital channels or in-store displays - and sync them into Klaviyo with contextual data. 👉 Let Mailability.io assign real-time Intent Scores to each profile based on how they interact with videos, surveys, links, and more. 👉 Use those scores to trigger AI flows and campaigns tailored to their behavior - both offline and online, on autopilot. What that unlocks: → Turn scans/click events and product interactions into high-performing email journeys → Fit messaging to each shopper’s engagement level - not just static segments → React instantly to real-world actions, driving stronger BFCM outcomes The result? → 32% uplift in Klaviyo email revenue → Email journeys that reflect how people actually shop → Smarter targeting that keeps working long after the Brij link click/scan If you’re looking to make BFCM 2025 your most connected (and profitable) one yet - You’ll want to see how this works. We're hiring a Marketing Lead at Brij. And I have a confession. I've built 23K+ followers on LinkedIn by accident. By "accident," I mean: I just kept sharing what was broken in retail & how women are perceived in careers. And apparently, a lot of you agree. Now I need someone who can turn this accident into a strategy. Here's the real job: You won't just market a product. You'll help reshape how brands connect with customers. Because here's what I've learned building a founder-led brand: The future of B2B isn't corporate. It's human. What you'll actually own: 1. Founder-led brand strategy: My 23K followers? That's just the beginning. You'll help me turn raw insights into content that moves markets. (heck, let's have the entire TEAM posting.) 2. Product marketing that converts: We've built something that drives millions for brands like quip and Caraway. Your job: Make sure every CMO knows exactly how we'll transform their business. Not features. Outcomes. 3. Demand Gen: Forget MQLs. We need someone who understands intent signals. Who knows that a CMO searching "retail media attribution" at 11pm is worth 100 form fills. 4. Content that compounds: One case study → 5 blog posts → 20 social posts → 1 webinar → 50 sales conversations. You'll build the machine that turns customer wins into pipeline. 5. AI-Native marketing operations: While others debate if AI will replace marketers, you're already using it to 10x output. ChatGPT for first drafts. Claude for analysis. Jasper for variations. Perplexity for research. Agents to automate workflows. The uncomfortable truth about this role: You'll work directly with me. Daily. That means: - 7am Slacks about post ideas - Turning my voice memos into thought leadership - Pushing back when my ideas are half-baked - Building in public, iterating constantly You're perfect for this if: - You've scaled founder-led brands before (bonus: in B2B SaaS) - You see my LinkedIn as an untapped revenue channel, not a vanity metric - You can write copy that makes CMOs forward emails to their teams - You understand that great product marketing starts with customer outcomes Why this role, why now: We just raised $8M. We have 150+ brands. Our customers are seeing 25-50% revenue lifts. The product works. The founder has reach. The market is desperate for our solution. We just need someone to connect the dots. Fair warning: This isn't about making pretty decks or scheduling social posts. This is about building the playbook for how brands will market in 2026 and beyond. If you're reading this thinking "finally, a role where I can build something that matters"... DM me. Ready to help me turn this "accidental" following into the future of B2B marketing? 💙 Link to apply below -- #hiring #B2Bmarketing #productmarketing #demandgen #startupjobs

Want to build a brand like Caraway Home? Start with the customer—across every channel.👇 So naturally, they use Brij. But let's back up a minute... how did we get here. Caraway is the non-toxic kitchenware brand flooding your feed with beautiful, functional design. They’re also a dream customer for us at Brij. About 18 months ago, I slid into Jordan Nathan’s LinkedIn DMs while we were fundraising. The vision for Brij must’ve resonated...Jordan wrote an angel check. ✅ But getting Caraway to use Brij? That took some tenacity. Fast forward to 6 months ago: Caraway officially onboarded, and now they’re CRUSHING it. Here’s how they’re using Brij: 📦 Inserts with QR codes in every box 📲 Flows tailored by channel—DTC, Amazon, and retail 💬 Promoting reviews, sharing content, collecting profiles 💰 And most importantly...driving hundreds of thousands of dollars per month in incremental revenue And they’re telling this story even when we’re not in the room. Shoutout to Nancy Gurd, their incredible Director of CX, who sprinted to bring this to life. And to Jordan for trusting us early on and empowering his team to run with it. At Brij, we believe: A brand with more data delivers a better experience—for consumers, for retailers, and for the brand itself. Caraway gets it. And we’re just getting started. I can't wait until they get their hands on our new Omni Ads product Jonathan Cairo! Thank you Larry T. parcelLab for the clip! Ashley H. We’re thrilled to announce that Brij has raised an $8M oversubscribed funding round to power the next generation of offline-to-online customer relationships. This brings us one step closer to closing the trillion-dollar disconnect between brands and their retail customers. The round was led by Bright Pixel Capital and CEAS Investments, with participation from incredible investors including The Artemis Fund & Red Bike Capital with continued support from Lakehouse Ventures & Forum Ventures. We believe brands deserve to know who their customers are, no matter where they shop. And we have the data to back that this provides tremendous value to consumers, brands & retailers. Brands selling through retail or marketplaces have historically struggled to own their customer relationships...until now. Before Brij, brands intuitively understand that owning offline data is good for their business. We've been able to quantify this, driving millions of dollars of revenue for our customers. 150+ brands. 10x better conversion. 20x+ ROI. $85+ per profile. Millions of dollars of revenue driven for our customers. We're privileged to work with some of the best brands in the world. Our platform helps leading brands like The HEINEKEN Company, quip., Feastables, Once Upon a Farm, Skullcandy Inc., Momofuku, Black Diamond Equipment, Gozney and many more build direct, data-rich connections with customers who shop offline. This funding fuels our continued investment in agentic AI, product innovation, and strategic go-to-market expansion. Building Brij with Zack Morrison has been one of the most incredible privileges of our lives. I think you all know how much I love my job, my team, & how passionate we are about solving this massive problem. This marks the beginning of an exciting next chapter for Brij, and we’re so grateful to have you with us on the journey. Let's build the future of omnichannel enablement together 💙 Francisco Aivado Nunes Miguel Bagulho Mike Wohl Blake Hatten Diana Murakhovskaya Juliette Richert Rachel ten Brink Herman Goihman John Neamonitis Emma Sokoloff Michael Cardamone Alexander Civetta Jessica (Jessy) Vaughn

Meta’s getting harder to scale. And let’s be real—most brands are starting to feel it. CPMs are up. Creative fatigue hits faster. And the promise of effortless scale through Facebook and Instagram? Not what it used to be. So where do you go next? Streaming TV? Podcasts? YouTube? The options are endless—but the budget, time, and creative energy? Not so much. That’s why I’m pumped to be at Scaling Beyond Meta this week, alongside some of the sharpest marketers in the game. We’re breaking down what actually works when you’re ready to grow outside the Meta machine—and how to do it without blowing your budget. Come for the tactics. Stay for the panel (hi, Nik Sharma), pizza, and product giveaways from some of the coolest Shopify brands out there. And yes—there will be drinks. Brij is excited to sponsor along with Upscale AI. Hear from Nicole Fisch at Lalo, Torin Rittenberg at Branch, & Kyle Bergman founder of Swoveralls on what's working in their businesses.
