  • In support of Bloomberg's Million Meals Challenge, our summer interns packed 5,000 dinner kits with fresh produce at DC Central Kitchen – helping get meals into the hands of our neighbors. At Bloomberg Industry Group, we’re passionate about giving back to the communities where we live and work and we actively encourage employees to participate in philanthropic and cultural initiatives. It’s all about working together to create a positive impact where it matters most. #TeamBloomberg #MillionMeals

  • Our summer interns are off to a running start! This year, we welcomed 25 fresh faces to Bloomberg Industry Group as part of our summer intern cohort.   In the last few weeks, our accomplished class of aspiring professionals have contributed to our culture of innovation and collaboration through meaningful work and true immersion with their respective departments.   When not at their desks or working on Capitol Hill like some of our news interns, our dynamic group has bonded through workshops and activities! So far, they have visited the International Spy Museum, attended professional development workshops, and held a meet and greet with Bloomberg Industry Group CEO Josh Eastright.   In a lunch-and-learn format meeting, our interns got to know more about Josh through an interview with Communications and Culture team Intern Neha Jampala. During their conversation, Josh spoke about his professional path, strategic vision for the company, and offered words of wisdom.   When asked by Neha what advice he'd give his younger self, Josh told the audience, “Find out what you like and what you don't like. Be honest with yourself.” He emphasized the importance of trying new things and being curious—exposure to experienced people and the value of intellectual curiosity often drives young professionals forward when navigating early careers.   Stay tuned for more content in the coming weeks as our interns round out their time with us!

  • As part of our ongoing commitment to community impact, we welcomed seven rescue dogs from Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, a nonprofit fueled by passionate volunteers. During lunch, employees had the chance to meet, play with, and help socialize the pups—an important step on their journey to finding loving forever homes. The visit also offered a meaningful opportunity to learn more about Lucky Dog’s mission and discover ways to adopt, foster, or get involved.

  • We are proud to share that our lobby re-opened this week! In collaboration with our design colleagues at Bloomberg, our facilities team created an engaging, modern, and welcoming space for our staff and visitors. "We worked with a local architectural design firm - Gensler, to achieve a modern design that could elevate the profile of our building and one that followed strong design trends that would wear well over time," said Senior Facilities & Operations Manager Bruno Giordano, MBA, about the project. Stay tuned for more improvements as we upgrade our workplace experience!
