      I just upgraded from a S24 so not a big change but I do notice the speed and the thinness. I do think it's a bit too wide though but that is just my preference the S24 was a bit less wide that way. I was hoping this was the same size of my S24 just thinner. Other than that I'm a pretty basic phone user so while I think the S24 had a better camera? This one looks like it takes good pictures to me.

      As a long time Note fan and coming from an S24 Ultra, I was worried about battery life after reading many S25 Edge reviews but decided to take the plunge anyhow. I'm very glad that I did!

      The very first thing anyone will notice taking it out of the box isn't how thin it is - it's how light the phone weighs. Given that the screen size is only a tiny bit smaller than the Ultra, this is an amazing feat. The titanium-frame phone feels feather-light, yet very solid, with no flex at all.

      For the battery life: Waking up at 8 am with a full charge and taking it to midnight without charging it during the day and using it exactly the same way I did the S24 Ultra, the S25 Edge was left with 25% battery. I think this is great, because practically, during the day, if I'm in the car it'll be charging, and putting it on a charging pad on my work desk is not really a big deal. Right up to the S22 Ultra, I'd usually have my phone on a wireless charging pad.

      The phone charges at 25W plugged in, which is significantly lower than the 45W in the S25 Plus or the S25 Ultra. However, this is minor for me because I almost always charge my phone wirelessly, where they're all15W.

      Performance-wise, the phone is excellent. It's very snappy, with a gorgeous AMOLED display that's super-bright in the day. Not that this is new, but with 120Hz adaptive refresh on, the scrolling is butter-smooth.

      Obviously, this phone has only 2 rear cameras, so if cell phone photography is your thing, and in particular, if you want a telephoto lens, buy the S25 Pro, or the Ultra, which has TWO telephoto lenses. Unlike full frame or APSC MILC/SLR cameras, cell phone "telephoto" lenses don't actually have that much optical reach. For reference, the Edge has a 200 megapixel (!) 24mm f/1.7 primary lens, and a 12 megapixel 13mm wide angle lens, that are both very serviceable. The Plus adds a 67mm f/2.4 telephoto lens, and the Ultra adds a 111mm f/3.4 lens. While I don't think any of these can make a bid for sports or nature photography, the The 67mm is very useful in portraiture and the 111mm great for pets. I suspect these are missing because the thin camera body makes it impossible to implement the longer focal lengths.

      Samsung claims a 2x equivalent optical zoom with the Edge's primary camera, but I wasn't impressed with the results. Then again, I want my cell phone to take decent pictures of conveniently; I don't need it to replace my Canon R5.

      I read a couple of reviews that the sound was a little sub-par, but to my admittedly forgiving ears, the S25 edge sounded great. I love audiobooks and music, and listen to both (over 1,000 audible hours some months) a lot. The battery drain wasn't significant when listening through my Shokz headset.

      All in all, I think the phone was a great investment. I love its weight, and given my personal use case, I'm very happy with it and would easily recommend it to others.
