    re: OpenSSL vulnerability (CVE-2022-0778). BIND users will not be impacted by this unless they are using encrypted DNS (DOT, DOH, XOT), which is only supported in 9.17 and 9.18. In this case, the workaround is to install the newly released patched OpenSSL.

    If you want to make internet better and prevent some DDOS attacks, you can include requirements in your tenders / service agreements. This would help prevent spoofed IP attacks. Your ISP should do it. Make them do it by making it a requirement.
