    5/ So, how do you get these savings? Easy! Gas-Lite is applied automatically whenever we have sufficient balance of the relevant token. Navigate to the Actions Tab, deposit to , , or and you'll see the savings automatically applied🤑

    4/ In short — Old way: Each user pays for their own deposit New way: Dharma "pre-pays" for N deposits by depositing into Compound / Yearn / Aave from the Trade Reserve. The subsequent N users get to split the cost of the transaction.

    3/ Normally, every action a user takes from their bank account triggers an associated on-chain action in the Trade Reserve. Gas-Lite deposits break that assumption by allowing transactions to be batched together across other Dharma users.

    2/ Direct-from-bank transactions in Dharma are routed through and settled by the Dharma Trade Reserve, an on-chain escrow system. This on-chain escrow system and its associated 5-day lockup is how we're able to offer fiat-to-crypto with high-limits and low-fees.
