New core businesses for growth

Currently, Canon is in the midst of a grand strategic transformation designed to accelerate growth in our four new businesses: commercial printing, network cameras, medical and industrial equipment. From development to manufacturing, procurement and all the way to the cultivation of human resources, we are striving for complete success as a Group. At the same time, in such mature businesses as cameras and printers, we are pursuing next-stage growth through the development of high-value-added products and cost reduction.
