The Ensoniq Mirage
I love this machine. A whole eight bits and real analog filters.
On-Line Resources
If you are the proud owner of a Mirage you might be interested in the
Mirage-Net mailing list. Take at look at the
web page for details about joining the list and other Mirage links.

How to create MidiFile Dumps
Updated
Learn how to create standard midifiles containing Mirage Program and Sound data.
All you need is a midi sequencer, a Mirage running MASOS and the provided MIdifiles that
trigger the dumps. Take a look at My Further Adventures
with System Exclusive.
Cubase Mixer Map
If you use Cubase and a Mirage then you must download this ! Truly useful.

Sonic Dreams
Here is a program for the Atari ST that allows you to edit the mirage's parameters
from the computer . It requires MASOS to work. What makes it truly unique is the
wavetable draw function. A window appears containing the default square wave. To draw
a new wave simply move the points around. It is possible to create up to four synth waves
per half of the mirage. Please note that the mirage must be configured first for this
system to work. The documentation included in the archive file contains tables for setting
the correct values for the parameters. Created by Daniel
Skaborn.
Update!
I have now created a Midifile dump of the Template required to use the wavetable
synth. It's included in the zip file with the program.
