Dynomutt, Dog Wonder featured the adventures of a cape-crusading bionic
dog and his trusty leader, a superhero named The Blue Falcon. The
clever premise, created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, mixed comic-book
adventure with a generous dose of slapstick as the bumbling Dynomutt
(voiced by Frank Welker) often turned the heroic deeds of The Blue
Falcon (voiced by Gary Owens) into comic disasters. The 16 episodes
produced were first seen as part of The Scooby Doo / Dynomutt Hour
in 1976. The cartoons were repeated solo in 1978 as The Blue Falcon
and Dynomutt.
