Cam joined to co-lead our US division and while it took time to find his feet, he hit his pace in 2022 when he launched and scaled our Life Sciences function across the UK and US from scratch. The MRJ Recruitment Footie Fundraiser 2025 ⚽ This fundraiser has become a rolling summer staple in Manchester, uniting the local business community for a brilliant cause, The Christie Charity Since 2021, MRJ have raised just shy of £25K with their events to support life-changing cancer research, care and patient services and Friday’s tournament was another huge success! The HG boys laced up for our fourth year running, and here’s the lowdown: → We battled (hard) through the group stage → The knockouts brought us up against the pros (if you know, you know) → We even went 1-0 up thanks to our star boy, Lewis, but our keeper couldn’t quite handle the firepower, and well… it was all downhill from there. Shoutout to our very own Xabi Alonso, Alex, who kept the energy high. Jokes aside, this is about so much more than football. It’s proof that when people come together, great things happen. A huge thanks to Grant Spencer and Jody Marks for pulling off another brilliant day. Roll on 2026!

We’ve really got something good over here. Not many can say they’ve gone through life’s biggest milestones with their colleagues. At HG, we’ve celebrated weddings, welcomed babies, raised office puppies, hosted endless housewarmings… and now, a few of the team have ticked off a bucket list gig seeing Oasis live together. We even got the parents and siblings involved. Pretty sure Jake and Mathew are already scrambling for Wembley tickets, so must’ve been an incredible night. You hear a lot about “culture” in recruitment, about teams feeling like family. We actually live it. Work isn’t work when you love the people you’re with.

4 years of Lewis Hanley... Today we’re celebrating 4 incredible years of Lewis at Higher Group, and what a journey it's been. From joining as a consultant to becoming our fastest-ever Associate Director in just 18 months, Lewis leads our Manchester desk and continues to set the standard for what success looks like here. Recently, he hit a HUGE milestone. £1 million in revenue billed, and we couldn’t be prouder. We’re shining the spotlight on Josh Kula, who went from slinging steaks in a meat factory to leading our A&F division in just two and a half years. After joining Higher Group in 2022 (thanks to a TikTok scroll), Josh hit the ground running.
