Russian missile attacks kill nine in Kyiv

Nine people have been killed and more than 30 others were injured after Russia launched another large scale ballistic missile attack on the capital Kyiv – the second major strike in just three days.

The speed of the missiles left people little time to seek shelter – while President Zelenskyy said the lack of Patriot interceptors meant Ukrainian air defence forces were unable to shoot most of them down.
