Video: Hoosick River Canoe Kayak Trip Part 4
The fourth and final video of the “Canoeing the Hoosick” series is up at https://youtu.be/WEYEd2P8HTg . This covers the section of the river from the Eagle Bridge boat launch to the Buskirk Bridge. It was by far the easiest and most pleasant section to travel. It includes narration about the area and some of the people who lived there.

Part 1 of my latest video is up – canoeing the Hoosick along the border of White Creek (although we don’t make White Creek until the middle of the second part and this first one covers mostly Hoosick history). We had to go down the river from Hoosick Falls to get to White Creek. People originally came to this part of the country following the rivers and streams as there were no roads and only narrow and rough Native American foot trails.
