If you want to buy a Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W USB-C Fast Charger, go to the Google Store.
You can use the Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W Charger to charge 2 devices at the same time.*
The Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W Charger is a Pixel-first charger designed to prioritize charging your Pixel phone fastest. The charger automatically recognizes Pixel phones when they’re plugged in and maximizes power to them for the fastest charge, even when charging another device at the same time.
The 2 USB-C ports have the same power output, but the charger intelligently adjusts output for any device plugged into either port. Power output depends on the prioritization rules below and the power requested by the device.
*Charging speed depends on many factors, like usage while charging, battery age, ambient temperature, and devices connected. Actual charging speed may be slower.
Prioritization
The Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W Charger identifies connected devices and prioritizes charging or maximizes output power as requested by the device. The prioritization is:
- Priority 1: Pixel phones
- Priority 2: Pixelsnap Charger (with or without Stand)
- Priority 3: Non-phone Google devices, like Pixel Tablet and Pixel Buds
- Priority 4: Any non-Pixel device
Compatibility
This charger is compatible with a wide range of USB-C devices, like smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices that are USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) standard compliant. Additionally, this power adapter is “Works with Chromebook” certified, optimized to work with the latest chromebooks. While it can charge most devices, it's designed to prioritize Pixel phones and devices.
Whether current or previous models, all Pixel phones get the same highest priority over other Pixel ecosystem devices and non-Google devices.
Charger specifications
- When only one device is connected, the maximum output on either port is 67W.
- When 2 devices are connected:
- The maximum output on either port is 60W.
- The maximum combined output of both ports is 67.5W.
Tips:
- If your device needs more than 60W power, you must use an “E-Marker” cable, certified for power delivery above 60W.
- If you use a standard cable, the device still charges but at up to 60W max.
- For adapters with folding prongs, retract them fully before storage. This helps protect the prongs as well as other items from getting scratched or caught by the exposed prongs.
Troubleshoot charging issues
Fix slow charging with your non-Pixel device
You may notice that your laptop or another device charges slower than expected when plugged into the Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W Charger along with a Pixel phone, a Pixelsnap Charger, or the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand.
- The Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W Charger is designed to prioritize Pixel phones and the Pixelsnap Charger over non-Pixel devices. This may result in limited power available to the other port.
- If you need to charge your laptop or other device more quickly, unplug your Pixel phone or the Pixelsnap Charger from the adapter. This makes the maximum amount of power available to your other device, which results in a faster charge.
Resolve on or off charging cycles
If you charge two devices and the charging status of one device cycles on and off when it’s plugged into the adapter:
- It’s likely that your device isn’t compliant with the USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) standard.
- To let the device that doesn’t support USB-PD standard charge, unplug the other device from the adapter.
Tip: If your device isn’t charging, learn how to charge your Pixel phone.
