Organize your tabs & windows with Smart group

To make it easier for you to find what you need and switch between tasks, use Smart group. With Smart group, you can:

• Organize tabs and windows by topic.
• Track your current tasks.

This feature is only available in Lenovo Chromebook Plus (14“, 10).

What you need

To use this feature, make sure that:

• You’re at least 18 years old.
• Your device language is set to one of the following:
  • English
  • Danish
  • German
  • Spanish
  • Finnish
  • French
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Dutch
  • Norwegian
  • Portuguese
  • Swedish
• You’re located in one of the following countries:

Organize tabs & windows on a new desk

Important:

• The group needs a minimum of 4 items and a maximum of 25 items related to the topic.
• This is an experimental AI feature and won’t always be accurate.

1. On your Chromebook, enter Overview mode:
   • On your trackpad: Swipe up with 3 fingers.
   • On your keyboard: Press F4, key with box and 2 vertical lines.
2. At the bottom, find the Smart group.
   • To expand and view the grouped tabs and windows, select Up arrow .
     • To remove tabs and windows, next to the content, select Remove .
     • To provide a feedback, select Thumb up or Thumb down .
   • To save the group for later:
     • To proceed, right-click on the Smart group.
     • From the context menu, choose Save group for later.
3. To create a new desk, select the Smart group.
   • Or you can create it from the right click context menu's "Open" option.
   • You can also rename the desk.

Tips:

• After you turn off or put your Chromebook to sleep and turn it on again, login and at the bottom, select the Smart group. It restores the grouped tabs and windows.
• When you select the overview, you can turn off Smart content groups.
