Important: If you need to maintain both Chrome Stable and Chrome Beta, you should install the separate Chrome Beta package.
Join Chrome Beta for Android
Important: When you use Chrome Beta, you may experience instability, bugs, or other issues. If you experience a problem, please help us improve Chrome for everyone and share your feedback.
- Go to play.google.com/apps/testing/com.android.chrome.
- If asked, sign in to your Google Account.
- Select Become a tester.
- To use Chrome Beta, follow the on-screen instructions.
Tip: The switch to beta version is like a normal update. You won’t lose any data or settings.
Leave the Chrome Beta program
- Go to play.google.com/apps/testing/com.android.chrome.
- If asked, sign in to your Google Account.
- Select Leave the program.
- To install a stable version of Chrome, update the app.
