Update to Advertiser Verification Program (May 2022)

Google provides translated versions of the Advertising Policies Help Center, though they're not meant to change the content of the policies. The English version is the official language used to enforce Google Ads policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language dropdown at the bottom of the page.

On May 16, 2022, Google will update its advertiser verification program reflecting the addition of 15 new regions to our verification program. Google will begin asking advertisers registered in Åland Islands, Caribbean Netherlands, Curaçao, Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Guernsey, Martinique, Norfolk Island, Palestine, Reunion, Sint Maarten, St. Barthélemy, Timor-Leste and Western Sahara to complete advertiser identity verification as part of the phased rollout. The Advertiser verification policy includes example criteria of advertisers who may be prioritized.
