I should've read the reviews first. The ads DO make it out to be a free app, and the responses to the many people saying that are NOT a good look for you. After seeing the responses, I looked at all the details on the playstore and scoured the website. There is ZERO information about subscription pricing. The website does say there's a subscription, but you don't find out pricing until you download it and go through all the prompts. Transparency matters, and there is none with this app.

Don’t waste your time: The ads make this app look free, but that’s not the case at all. You’re hit with a paywall right away and can’t even test it out before being pushed into a subscription. It feels like a cash grab more than anything. If the app was actually worth it, they’d at least let you try a free version first. Totally misleading and not worth the download.

You have to pay to play and for me and my child, it's not worth it for what is offered in the game. I can see this getting boring pretty fast. It's super basic and not much to learn from. Not many options and most of the game play is the same. Just too basic for $45. This was a miss for my kid. She plays other games for cheaper and more to do and learn from.

What’s new

New Toy: Phonics!
Say hello to Phonics! This new toy helps kids foster confidence in learning language by teaching them to recognize sounds, or “phonemes”, first. Children will build words from sounds and the letters that form them, while having fun within a collection of playful and familiar scenes. It’s a gentle, hands-on way to support early reading, while making English feel approachable and full of discovery.
