I find the music selection available on YTM versus other apps much better, but I do have a few issues with it: 1. It's basically unusable without a premium subscription. You literally can't use background play without it, which is a standard feature of any music app. 2. They have a tendency to introduce new bugs to the app, which sometimes outright completely breaks certain features, and sometimes renders the app as a whole unusable. They then take months to fix them. 3. Google.

Rubbish. - Dark mode is awful. -Won't play more than 50% of tracks from my old playlists. Really annoying when I set my playlist to shuffle, start driving to work, then have it stop after two songs. -Can't search. -Plays awful random tracks not on my playlist (I REALLY dislike that. What's the point of playlists if not to listen to what you have selected) -Some songs come through with really very poor sound, when previously they were fine on Google play. Going back to my CD's!

The option to add a video to your experience, with all the live music and retro performances that brings, is brilliant. Sadly the interface (Via fire stick) doesn't match it. Playlists can be built but the shuffle function is poor: The playlist must be started before you can shuffle it, and it's odd how much repetition I get in a playlist of 600+ songs. There's also an ssue with Closed Captions activating and restarting each time a new video starts no matter how often you turn them off.
