Last year, retailers saw a 35% increase in serious incidents reported. But there’s good news: retailers and law enforcement agencies are now better able to work together to build prevention networks. A repeat offender who was targeting meat products was arrested and charged following an investigation carried out using Auror. Quality event reporting from the impacted stores helped to identify the offender and connect them to multiple events, an accomplice, and a vehicle. An investigation was launched using Auror's Investigate module and a successful operation was carried out. Using intel on the platform, two store detectives apprehended the offender and contacted police, who arrested and charged the person.
