We recently hosted 50 female Year 8–9 students from Victorian schools at our 2025 Arcadis STEAM Experience Day with RMIT University to spark interest in #STEAM careers. Hands-on workshops and speed networking with experts from seven organizations gave students real-world insights into structure design, environmental assessment and emerging tech. We recently welcomed 50 female students from seven Victorian schools to step into the exciting world of #STEAM at our 2025 Arcadis STEAM Experience Day, in collaboration with RMIT University. Designed for Year 8-9 students, the day aimed to break down barriers and spark curiosity around careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. From hands-on workshops in structure design and environmental assessment to deep dives into emerging tech and real-world innovation, students explored STEAM through the lens of real-world impact, guided by passionate facilitators from both Arcadis and RMIT. The students also participated in a speed networking event and connected with professionals across seven different companies and organisations - hearing real stories and asking bold questions to experts from across the industry. With 30 volunteers, 90+ attendees and a strong focus on learning, connection and inclusion, the day served as an important reminder of the role events like these play in supporting diversity and inspiring the next generation. #WomenInSTEAM

We're thrilled to announce we have been appointed to deliver the Climate Change Adaptation Strategy for Bradfield City – #Australia’s first new city in 100 years located in the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. Leveraging our climate resilience and built environment expertise, with partners Kaizen PR & Communications and Lecroma, the strategy will optimise the opportunity to integrate resilience thinking into all aspects of the City’s development and will enable the Bradfield Development Authority to deliver on their long-term sustainability and resilience objectives that form part of the City’s Master Plan. The win marks another project in our long history of delivering technical and strategic projects in Western Sydney. From climate risk and adaptation plans in the redevelopment of Parramatta to design of the Sydney Metro and delivery of Western Sydney Airport, our work has contributed significantly to the continued growth and transformation of Sydney’s vibrant West. Spanning 114 hectares, Bradfield is designed with sustainability and connection to Dharug Country at its heart.
