To commemorate its 15th anniversary, UNIQLO Malaysia has donated RM200,000 (approx US$47,000) – raised through its local paper bag charge initiative – to the Global Environment Centre (GEC). The three-year project will support mangrove forest conservation in Mersing, Johor, a flood-prone coastal area in southern Malaysia. This initiative also includes community engagement efforts to strengthen environmental awareness and local resilience. This activity is part of UNIQLO Malaysia’s ongoing commitment to contribute to environmental sustainability at the local level. Together, we’re shaping a future where business growth and environmental care go hand in hand.   #UNIQLO #MangroveConservation #Sustainability #LifeWear #PowerofClothing #UNIQLOMALAYSIA #Donation

Celebrating World Environment Day, UNIQLO in Korea gave a behind-the-scenes look at how clothing donated by customers is reused and recycled in meaningful ways. In this special video, UNIQLO’s efforts to promote a more sustainable society are highlighted, with donated clothing items sorted and provided to local organizations that support refugees, homeless shelters, and facilities supporting those affected by domestic violence. Clothing that is no longer suitable for wear is transformed into fiber panels, which are manufactured into pieces of upcycled furniture for children. By putting a spotlight on the journey of clothing after donation, UNIQLO in Korea hopes that more customers will be encouraged to donate their own clothing – helping to give it a second life that makes life better for more people. #UNIQLO #UniqloKorea #REUniqlo #Sustainability #WorldEnvironmentDay #Powerofclothing

We are excited to share that UNIQLO Vietnam has opened its first store in Central Vietnam, in Hue city, bringing LifeWear to a brand new area. We were thrilled and very appreciative to see hundreds of customers queuing up for opening day. Located in a city that boasts rich cultural heritage, the UNIQLO AEON MALL Hue store embraces the essence of the local culture, bringing it into products and in-store displays. The store’s exclusive UTme! T-shirt collection features six patterns inspired by local cuisines and traditional craft villages, available only at the Hue store. As a way for us to say ‘thank you’ to the local community for their support, sales of this collection will be donated to Hope Foundation to support children in Hue Central Hospital. #UNIQLOVN #LifeWear #UniqloAeonMall #UTme

UNIQLO launched its first community skill centre project in India. A significant step in UNIQLO’s efforts to invest in local talent and contribute to India’s economic prosperity, in partnership with Plan International, this project will provide skill development opportunities for underprivileged youth. The three-year project is funded through UNIQLO’s PEACE FOR ALL initiative, through which UNIQLO parent company Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. will provide a donation of 120 million Japanese Yen (approx. INR 7 Cr; calculated as per exchange rate of March 18, 2025, 1 Japanese Yen = INR 0.58).   The Job Oriented Vocational Training Centre, located in Dwarka, New Delhi, India will offer practical skills and training for young people in three main areas: general nursing & care assistant services, retail, and sewing machine operation. We hope this project will have a life-changing, positive impact for thousands of young Indian people. It is a fundamental for UNIQLO that, in every country and region that we operate, we always contribute to society, and this new project reaffirms our long-term commitment to the Indian community. #uniqlo #lifewear #powerofclothing #whatmakeslifebetter #uniqloindia #sustainability #peaceforall #donation #localcommunitycontribution
