Italmatch was honored to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Italy China Council Foundation - ICCF in Milan as a special guest and winner of the 2007 China Awards. The event recognized Italmatch as a long-standing and virtuous example of Italian industrial presence in China, offering an opportunity to share our experience and future plans in the region. Our General Manager, Maurizio Turci, presented the Group’s growth journey in China since late 90s , highlighting how our path can inspire and guide future generations of entrepreneurs. “Our long-term vision and commitment helped us overcome challenges, earning us the prestigious awards Top Investors in China Award (2007) and the Golden Panda Award (2015). Understanding cultural differences and DEI and building a shared identity to overcome prejudice and break down barriers have been key” said Maurizio Turci. One of Italmatch Chemicals’ 20 production sites is located in Poland, in Chorzów, where we have been operating since 2004 with a specialization in yellow phosphorus chemistry. With around 17 employees, the site plays a strategic role within our global operations. Our international presence also translates into a tangible commitment to local communities. That’s why we were pleased to support the 12th edition of the Italian Football Tournament in Poland, an initiative that promotes sports, culture and a strong sense of community. The event, organized by Comites Polonia and Gazzetta Italia, under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Warsaw, has become a tradition that brings the Italian community in Poland together through teamwork and sporting spirit. “We strongly believe in the values of internationalism and inclusion. We are proud to support events like this, which bring different cultures together through sport. As we look ahead to the next steps and opportunities in the months to come, Italmatch Chemicals Group is pleased to share a summary of our FY 2024 results and progresses achieved throughout the last year. Our gross sales revenues reached €686 million, supported by an 8% increase in sales volumes, which rose to 269 K/T. Furthermore, Adjusted EBITDA grew by 17% to €134 million, while contribution margin reached €276 million, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous year. We achieved these strong achievements thanks to our ongoing commitment to operational excellence, innovation and sustainability. In 2024, as a matter of fact, we launched 18 new products and continued to reinforce our focus on ESG topics across all areas of the business. These results further reaffirm the strength of Italmatch Chemicals Group’s business model and strategic positioning across key global end-markets, delivering consistent performance and commitment to creating value to our customers and stakeholder worldwide. #FY2024

Italmatch was pleased to take part in the 18th UDOP National Bioenergy Congress at UNIP's campus in Araçatuba (Brazil). Recognized as one of the most important technical events in the bioenergy sector in Latin America, this year's event focused strongly on innovation to increase ethanol production. During the event, our colleague Thomas Alexander Draheim, Water and Energy Specialist, participated in the “Innovation to increase ethanol production” panel, presenting our latest market innovation: EthanolMaxx, a new technology developed to optimize yield and efficiency in industrial processes. “It’s always an honor to not only attend but also share knowledge and present our innovations. At this event, we introduced EthanolMaxx, a unique technology designed to increase ethanol production during the fermentation process. It offers several benefits, such as reducing by-products of fermentation, improving sugar-to-ethanol conversion, reducing organic acids, increasing daily ethanol output — and on top of all that, it’s easy to handle and apply within the process” said Thomas Draheim #BioenergiesCongress #Brazil

CDP has released the 2024 Supplier Engagement Assessment rating that evaluate strategies and actions adopted to engage the supply chain on the issues of GHG emissions and climate change. In particular it takes into consideration risk management process, governance and business strategy, supplier engagement, scope 3 reporting, targets set. Our A score (B- in 2023) reflects the improvements made and certifies our ongoing commitment, appointing Italmatch as a possible leader and inspiration for other reporting companies. Being recognized as an Engagement Leader by CDP means not only meeting expectations, but actively driving positive change across the value chain. The project “Che Squadra” promoted by Insuperabili, a national reality promoting inclusion through sports for people with disabilities, has just come to an end.   Italmatch supported the initiative throughout the school year. Thanks to our collaboration with the football club, we played an active role in the project, successfully combining education, inclusion and personal growth to create a valuable experience. The project has been introduced to numerous schools in Italy, actively involving students and teachers in a highly impactful educational and human experience.   The proposed workshop activities encouraged reflection on key words such as ambition, simplicity, loyalty and teamwork. This created an educational dialogue about disability and its limitations, emphasizing the importance of being aware of them to achieve one's goals.   “Our participation presented a tangible chance to promote education and foster a culture of dialogue and the educational potential of sport. Italmatch is thrilled to announce the 68th edition of the Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi, which will be held in Spoleto (Italy) from 27 June to 13 July 2025.   The Group has always had strong ties with the territory of Spoleto, a city that represents not only the company's main plant and the place where it was founded, but also a cultural, social and human reference point of great value. Over the years, our collaboration was marked by our support for local initiatives, cultural events and community-focused projects.   That’s why we are proud to support the internationally Festival dei Due Mondi once again this year, an event that has long been a highlight in the performing arts calendar.
