Hi everyone,

I tried to verify my account for student privileges, but I have failed multiple times due to the website blurring the images that I took with my phone and rejecting my application when I upload an image instead of taking a picture with my device. I have now managed to submit an application that was rejected due to one reason only, which is:

"The GitHub account you are using was recently created, and you appear to be having difficulty demonstrating your academic affiliation. Please wait a few days then try again."

How many days will I have to wait before trying again?

And since it is the sole reason given for rejection after 10 tries which included multiple reasons, does this mean that the proof is already enough and that I just need to wait a few days before submitting the same proof again?

I also tried to gather more information by submitting another application with missing information to try and see if only the aforementioned reason would be shown again. The result is that it still detected and flagged the missing information alongside the recent account creation issue.

So am I correct to assume that the proof in the application, which only flagged the recent account creation issue, is already enough and that I just need to wait a few days before submitting the same proof again?

I have been having a similar issue. I have uploaded proof many times and different ways and continue to get rejected. It says they dont do any manual reviews and check these discussions. Would love to get some support on this.

Hey make sure u have set 2 Factor Authentication and also make sure ur time zone is set correctly..and its not necessary but try to fill the biodata and try again,,u wiill get accepted immediately
